I would hope that there is more to be heard from whistle-blower... and that the sanctions against Bernie hearing will continue?
But then a gain... BAEZ was supposed to be facing sanctions after the Ant trial... but it all just went away.
The defense IT expert/attorney (name?) who testified (or proffered ) about the text messages and pic's stored in applications which hid them actually added a little confusion for me. The state IT man, Kruidbos, testified his efforts exposed gigabytes of data not shared, along with his report on it. We know of a deficient report handed over in discovery on June 4, along with another data load, nuber 3 or 4 turned over for the phone.
The defense IT expert left me under the impression he had uncovered some or all the texts and pic's (and porn) from a data source previously provided to the defense.
Also. we're left with the mystery of WHO deleted the files after allegedly transferring them (or copies) to the applications on the phone which hid them.
For the record, I do not have the time nor desire to review all the comments in the CTH threads on the daily events (trial, etc), for this is a great source to get the important information posted there. I do however review many of them on the topic specific posts there, which recently had the electronic trail as a topic. In that post, SD made a comment that grabbed my attention:
SundanceMy spidey senses tell me that Trayvon Martin’s phone was brought to the 3/16/12 meeting in Mayor Tripletts office. During the hours that Tracy and Sybrina were alone in the office post meeting – Trayvon’s phone was scrubbed and voice mails were cleared. Bonaparte’s testimony yesterday, and Bill Lee’s testimony on Monday, has given me more reason to think that’s exactly what happened.
That seems rather farfetched when you consider they'd have to have an idea what was on the phone needing to be hidden and it required TWO pass codes for the applications used to hide the data. Think about how long it took IT experts to decipher WTH was in the data after they had it all in open files or folders to review with a computer …all to be accomplished in secret with so many people keeping it a secret. If they were that corrupt, they'd just delete it, not try to save it in a folder to hide it.
The hiding it, if Trayvon did not do it, seems like something that would have happened before Cellbrite became involved, or soon after anyway. A question I believe was left UN-asked of the defense IT expert was if the applications used to hide the files revealed a date they were downloaded to the phone, since he said he did not have dates for when the files were "deleted" to the applications (hidden).
That left me wondering if MOM intentionally made sure that question was not asked, for I do not fully trust that man, he leaves me suspecting he is working with the state (or fed's) to NOT expose issues that could hurt his career.
Anyway, back to the original topic at hand… I do not believe Kruidbos has much more to tell us that would help UNLESS he also knows when the file were hidden or the applications used were downloaded. He seemed to be more knowledgeable about the total data load discrepancy and files found than any evidence which would reveal who was behind hiding the files. I'd assume (uto!) the state would keep him closer to them if he had information which could expose criminal conduct (obstruction of justice?).
