1:05 p.m. ET: Juror question: "If you were scared of what Travis was capable of doing, why would you ever let him tie you up?"
"When that occurred, he was in a very good mood and he wasn’t displaying any signs of agitation, and that was the Travis that I liked and was not afraid of. When he did begin to get angry, my warning bells started to go off and I would begin to get cautious, for lack of a better term, but he hadn’t displayed any of that. We just woke up, we were getting along…and again, they were loose enough to wiggle out of so I wasn’t stuck there at his mercy, so to speak," said Arias.

Juror Question: Several times while testifying about the abuse by Travis, you have made comments like, ‘As I understand it now’ and ‘I’ve come to realize.’ How has this realization come about?
"Because about five years have passed, the further away I get from the situation, the more perspective I have. Whereas before I constantly made excuses for myself. Now I understand that the things that occurred were not OK. And forgiving him is different than continually putting up with it," said Arias.
12:46 p.m. ET: The judge is on the bench, and Arias is on the witness stand.
12:33 p.m. ET: Testimony should begin in a few moments.
