LUDICROUS

Not only is Comey's "evidence" based on what he alleges are notes from memory he took after his meeting with Trump, but he further has supplied only his written "summary" in hindsight of SELECTED PORTIONS of those notes... and further more he contends that his own (imagined) impressions of what Trump "meant", Trumps "body language" etc should be given weight in deducing what the actually words said convey....... GIVE ME A BREAK!!!

His notes are AT BEST only a (incomplete) memory of one side of what actually happened. His "perceived" interpretation (feelings) of what the words spoken were "meant to say" by Trump, are by definition BIASED... almost certainly inaccurate...likely lies...and totally inadmissible as evidence of anything.

Even if any weight at all is given to Comey's "Memo"... it has to be seen in its entirety.. not selected bits "cherry-picked" and quoted to bolster a narrative. That is "Hearsay of hearsay, selectively edited"... LAUGHABLE as evidence of anything.. other than evidence that Comey is a putz who knows nothing of the law and rules of evidence.

HE seems to have had a copy of Comey’s memo as well… how many damned copies are there?

Comey, Richman, Wittes, FBI central, and anybody else with a copy (eg NYT).. of “Comey’s Memo” can NOT claim to be “unaware” that it was VITAL EVIDENCE.. since supposedly all had Copies when it was leaked, quoted from, and cited as evidence in an event of National (International) significance. ANYBODY who destroyed documents, erased computer files etc did so KNOWING they were destroying evidence… BIG SMACKS!!!

Remember this Comey testimony regarding how SERIOUS leaks are?

“Director Comey, have you ever been an anonymous source in news reports about matters relating to the Trump investigation or the Clinton investigation?
COMEY: Never.”

"COMEY: But if I find out that people were leaking information about our investigations, whether it’s to reporters or to private parties, there will be severe consequences.”


Comey says he made sure his work product memo was unclassified so that it could be easily accessed in a future, theoretical investigation against Trump.

Color me CONFUSED.

How can a record (even inaccurate/incomplete) of a private conversation between POTUS and The Director of The FBI ever be "unclassified"??

In a wider sense... Personally, I regard just an everyday PRIVATE conversation between two people to be confidential... but that's just me. If a person can not be TRUSTED to maintain the confidentiality of a private conversation, I would sever all contact with them.
