balash retired in 1992 but still does expert work..he's also a crime scene reconstructionist

also expert on blood spatter. has test. as expert witness 400 times

the first "target" that was done at the dearborn heights police gun range being shown to jurors.

balash says he conducted the ballistics test at a foot, six inches which showed a lot of damage to the "target"

balash says force of shotgun wld not have been able to knock screen out cause of the frame that holds screen door in place.

jury will be excused for an hour for daubert hrg

judge telling them she has to attend to others matters (the daubert hrg) and asks them to come back at 10:30 a.m.
