Prosecutors may call for further witnesses today.

However, if that does not happen, the two sides will agree on a date to submit their closing arguments.

That will be done in writing and Judge Masipa will retire to consider them.

This is likely to take place next month.

If found guilty Pistorius will be given the opportunity to put forward mitigation arguments and can appeal. During which time, it would be expected that he remains on bail.
