Holmes says initial call to the scene included that a red Durango (truck w/ teens inside) was fleeing the scene


(I think it is key (suspicious) that the teens got away to more remote spot... then came back)

Holmes says when he pulled up to the side of the Durango he saw two teens sitting in front of it, approached to see if there was a victim

Holmes: I approached the car and there was someone sitting, "sobbing uncontrollably", and the victim across the back seat

Holmes says he had to ask back seat passenger to "calm down" bc he was "sobbing uncontrollably", couldn't find pulse on Davis

Holmes says #JordanDavis was pulled from the car and they started chest compressions, at that point they saw blood

Holmes: I secured 2 witnesses, involves asking them to stay here, not talk with each other

Holmes: when transporting other teens, one couldn't stop saying "I can't believe this happened".

Strolla to Holmes: why did you let a civilian perform CPR on #JordanDavis? Holmes: He said he was trained, I hadn't performed in awhile

Noticeably more objections so far today, about 3 on the first witness alone
