I agree FroggieLegs. I tried to tell people when they were coming down so hard on Shellie that their was another side to the story. She was suffering from trauma from things that occured before the trial. That lawyer of hers and that O'Connor woman swooped right in and in her weakened state took her over convincing her to do those interviews. I am so glad for her that since the dv incident she has laid low and is not all over social media but is trying to move on. George has made some bad judgement calls since the verdict. I don't know what his deal is but he obviously needs help. This fight shows a major lack of class. No matter how it turns out he will not come out of this looking good.
Which
bad decisions are you referring to?
Everyone around GZ has wanted a piece of him since the trial ended. Twenty-somethings get into arguments, they get tickets, the twenty-something men want to look and act like men (not a screaming twenty-something getting his ass kicked by a teen). The fight? Maybe that's to help get his pride back. I will be the first to admit I don't know and never want to know what it would feel like to be attacked in the dark by a hooded black man who refused to stop.
No one George had protected with his neighborhood watch efforts seemed to care enough to pull Trayvon off him. They were probably too scared because of TM's color. Politically correct or not, that's the real deal. Black men in hoodies beating your head against cement in the rain and dark is pretty traumatic - then there's the shooting, the murder charge, the hate, the loss of job, the possibility of finally graduating, and the 16 months that followed he's had to deal with.
Aside from his many arraignments, how many appearances has George, (someone said he loves his celebrity), made on TV? How many has Shellie made? Exactly.
Shellie has joined with Christi and Shellie's off again/on again friend, Kimmie, to defame GZ in the war and peace of blogs - it has (IMO), black butterfly/xena (rambling-robert-blake-style), written all over it. How do I know they had a hand in the blog? Because there are things that were referred to that only they would know. Why are they doing it? Because they can. Because Shellie likes money and loves to shop and she's a "tag whore" according to someone who knows her pretty well (not GZ or Sam). Shellie is a self-centered b**h, frankly and
in my opinion only. George is still a murderer to some, a hero to others, and to some he is a broken young man who has 100% lost what is most important to all the men I know, control over his life.
Fight as we might against the main stream media's influence, it's there, subliminal or in your face, it is always there manipulating opinions while making you think you came up with them all on your own.
People who say they never really cared for GZ, but only about justice, remind me of pro-lifers who don't want to talk about the horrors of child abuse or the over-crowding of the foster care system.
All just my knee-jerk opinion.
PS Don't be so sure Shellie is not on twitter
