I was looking on ebay for Zimmerman's paintings, I didn't see any, but I found this.

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=poppy+travon+zimmerman+poster&_nkw=poppy+travon+zimmerman+poster

For anybody that still thinks Zimmerman was guilty this poster illustrates the whole incident in Florida between Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman.

Trayvon got away and was almost home, and then backtracked and followed Zimmerman to his truck and started beating the crap out of Zimmerman. I love how Trayvon's friend, Rachel Jeantel took the stand and let it slip that he said a racist remark a few seconds before he attacked Zimmerman. If he hadn't been shot, this beating would have been a hate crime on Trayvon. I was appalled by Trayvon's use of foul language and racial slurs.

Note to to future attackers: If you knock a guy down, and notice he has a concealed weapon, don't go grabbing for it yelling "You are gonna die tonight!" as that gives the owner of the gun a license to kill you in self defense.

Welcome to RT Floridawatchman :give

Nice avatar pic... you pass the entrance test :)

I moved your post here... not worth a new thread of it's own.. but worth noting in th GZ discussion.

No argument about the GZ case... I would say that in a country (State) where it is legal to carry a concealed weapon it's an extra reason to NOT go attacking people. For George's sake it's very lucky that he was armed.

Yeah! I didn't doubt the satire because I know lots of Traybot Worriers and sure didn't put it past them to do such a thing!! And I still wouldn't be surprised if they did do it fro real.

Given that Traybot Worriers are "challenged" when it comes to English comprehension... comics may be the way to go :D

Shellie Zimmerman to judge: Even though George hasn't responded, give me a divorce
By Rene Stutzman, Orlando Sentinel
3:14 p.m. EST, January 28, 2014

SANFORD - Frustrated by George Zimmerman's failure to respond to her divorce petition, Shellie Zimmerman is now asking a judge to stop the delays and simply grant her a divorce.

Shellie Zimmerman, 26, filed for a divorce Sept. 5.

Her estranged husband has yet to file any sort of response.

Under Florida law, someone sued for divorce is required to respond within 20 days, once he's formally been serviced notice of the suit.

For months the George Zimmerman dodged process servers, but on Dec. 18, while he was in the Seminole County jail on a domestic violence charge, he was finally served.

His 20 days ran out earlier this month. On Jan. 13, Shellie Zimmerman's attorney, Kelly Sims, filed a motion for a default, and a deputy clerk of courts signed one the same day.

That means the judge may now treat the statements in his wife's pleadings as truthful, and the case may now move forward, with or without his participation.

The couple separated in August.

They have no children and own no real estate.

Shellie Zimmerman is asking for custody of their two dogs, Oso and Leroy.

She listed $13,000 in assets and nearly $104,000 in debts.

In a recent financial affidavit he filed in that domestic violence case, which has since been dismissed by prosecutors, he reported $2.5 million in debts, what he says he owes defense attorneys Mark O'Mara and Don West.

Traybots about to fail again tomorrow: Georgia will hold a hearing before the state’s Senate Judiciary Committee on a bill to repeal the state’s stand your ground law on Wednesday, January 29, and advocates are calling on supporters to “pack the house”.

The bill, SB 280, introduced by Senator Vincent Fort (D-Atlanta), seeks to repeal the statute relating to “no duty to retreat” in Georgia’s self-defense laws. The hearing will take place at 3:00 p.m. (EST) in Room 307 of the Coverdell Legislative Office Building, located at 18 Capitol Square in Atlanta. http://endstandyourground.wordpress.com ... ur-ground/

Phillips said he’s filed a pre-suit notice for a civil theft case, but he and Wilson said they’re just trying to stop the sale of the painting. If Zimmerman stops now, Phillips said, then “I don’t know that the misappropriation causes that much damage.”

Jeff Sonksen, an artist who said he was Zimmerman’s teacher, was quoted in the Orlando Sentinel as saying he taught Zimmerman to paint by projecting an image onto a canvas and having Zimmerman paint onto the projection.

Sonksen did not respond to a Facebook message Monday.

Wilson said Zimmerman “can do all the painting he wants, as long as he creates original artwork.” If the artwork is “for purely therapeutic reasons, dude, print it out and hang it on a wall.”

Wilson said this brings up a broader issue for photographers in a digital age when it’s easy to search for and download a copyright photograph.

“The moment you alter it, claim it as your own, use it for advertising purposes, if you make 100 prints of it and sell those prints,” he said, “that’s where it crosses the ethical boundaries.”

Phillips said the Associated Press has taken the lead on the case, and it would get most of the money from any lawsuit since the news agency has most of the rights to the photo. http://members.jacksonville.com/news/me ... -zimmerman

Why JUST George Zimmerman?

I imagine there are many other examples of people using photos... and making a profit. (No that it has been proven that George did that)

I can think of at least two reasons to "go after" GZ

1. He does stand to make a lot of money off the sale of his original painting. AP want a piece of the action.

2. They have a dislike and vendetta against GZ (a case of Rabid Traybotism)... they want to punish him, but are not bothered about any other people using photos.

You have to love how the Traybots keep saying that the Hope "painter" was convicted. Well yes he was, but not for using the picture, for falsifying the documentation and destroying evidence.

Now the other HUGE difference here and I think the part where the AP is going to have an uphill battle. The Hope picture was a digital manipulation of the original image. Zimmerman's paintings are just that, paintings. So how is any judge going to say that it isn't a derived work? As we have shown, the same moment was captured by various people and various devices, how can they prove it is that particular image that he even used to derive his work from?

Yes... but I don't imagine it will really slow Crump down. He "dodged a bullet" in the GZ case.. should have been exposed for the Scheme
Such people do not seem to experience shame or remorse, or even caution after being found out.. no reluctance to risk it again.

Anyway... an opportunity to reprise the song....

Mr Crump Don't like it

Is it just me or does it seem like the AP largely dropped the issue of GZ's painting after George said he would publish how much the AP offered him not to sue? Attorney John Phillips and Rick Wilson are still yappin about it but they don't stand to risk losing tens of millions of dollars that the AP could in a Zimmerman v AP suit.

Thanks for the reminders... I have to admit I don’t keep a calendar... just rely on spotting some activity.

If anybody spots a link promising live feed, please post it... otherwise it's usually a matter of searching on the day to find a live stream (if possible)

As far as AP and the painting goes. I am not sure if AP or whoever have given up. Unless George (Robert) sell the painting I don't suppose this alleged copyright will be tested.
What law suit against AP? There isn't one that I know of.
