You can represent a "bad bastard" but maintain ethical standards, in the way you do it.

This. There is absolutely nothing wrong with giving a proper criminal defense to someone you know committed the crime; in fact, that defense is necessary in this country for justice to be properly done.

Even the Traybot Worriers at Daft Forums and on twitter are now "down on" the prosecution in the GZ case. They post disdain for Corey and Bernie for instance.
Image

There is no denying that the prosecution FAILED in the sense that they lost the case. :95 :stamp

The Traybot Worriers put this down to the fact that for some reason they did not try to win, presented a poor and incomplete (at least) case. Almost certainly showing "raciss" underpinnings to the way they approached the case :roll

To make that assumption smacks to me of paranoia, delusion, denial, and a world view that sees "conspiracies" at every turn. :tinfoil

Application of "Occam’s Razor" suggests a much more rational explanation.

The prosecution failed because they had no case.

Bernie has no case

There is also clear evidence that as well as failing to win the case at trial, the prosecution did perform poorly... in the sense of following the rules and ethics required in the Justice System. So double fail IMO. :cool

IMO, the prosecution did fail, not only in ethics, but by being inept .... very inept!

I have to admit, the thought crossed my mind from time to time that Bernie's heart wasn't in it, and he was prosecuting an un-winnable case because he was ordered to. Especially when he introduced so many witnesses that in effect testified for the defense! Can't argue with the Occam's razor application though, I use that device a lot myself!

George Zimmerman's new painting: State Attorney Angela Corey

Zimmerman prosecutor depicted in latest painting by acquitted Trayvon Martin shooter.

By Jeff Weiner, Orlando Sentinel
6:21 p.m. EST, January 22, 2014

The special prosecutor who charged George Zimmerman with second-degree murder in the shooting of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin is the subject of his latest painting, according to a photo posted on Twitter by Zimmerman's brother.

Robert Zimmerman Jr. said details on the sale of Zimmerman's painting of State Attorney Angela Corey would be made available on Thursday. George Zimmerman sold a previous painting on eBay, with a winning bid of $100,099.99.

The new painting is an image of Corey gesturing with her finger and thumb together, under the words "I have this much respect for the American judicial system." The painting is titled "Angie," Robert Zimmerman Jr. tweeted Wednesday.

This is delicious. Traybot heads exploding again. I think the Martin's have about 6 weeks left to file for a suit against George, the NBC thing is moving along and Holder on hold. How sweet it is. Love the picture too.

Good for you George! It’s a well observed portrayal, the eyes in particular, which show her to be unbalanced; the crooked teeth are piranha like. It is not deliberately unflattering; it is an accurate likeness. That is her color palette that he is using, the one she chooses to adorn herself with daily, and it is harsh and ugly. I can’t imagine what it must have been like to spend hours painting the person who caused my torment and tried to take away my liberty for defending myself when I was terrified I was going to die – and use it to gain personal prestige. However, there is real beauty in this painting, in the abstract brushstrokes of the background; it is simple but luminous and rhythmic. The hand is badly done, but hands are challenging to paint, and Corey does have an ugly hand – looks like the head of a reptile. Even these first pieces are unexpectedly well composed and carried out by someone who to the best of my knowledge has not done artwork before, or studied the art of others. George has never expressed how he came to start painting. I am glad he found it, and wish him all the best, but most of all, peace.

Oh my heavens – if he does Rachel Jeantel – I may start bidding….

Zimmerman Attorney Mark O’Mara Calls George’s Fiery Angela Corey Painting ‘Cute’
by Tommy Christopher | 10:37 am, January 23rd, 2014

George Zimmerman unveiled his latest masterwork Wednesday, a fire-colored portrait of Florida State Attorney Angela Corey, along with a concrete poem rendering of this quote: “I have this much respect for the American judicial system – Angie C.”

On Sirius XM POTUS 124's The Michael Smerconish Program Thursday morning, former Zimmerman defense attorney Mark O’'ara commented on his ex-client's latest painting, and Zimmerman’s hobby in general.

"Did you see the story about your former client painting, including an image featuring Special Prosecutor Angela Corey?" host Michael Smerconish asked.

"Look, if he’s doing something that calms him down, keeps him out of the public eye, relaxes him, I think that’s a healthy habit to take on," O'Mara said.

"I looked at the art," he continued. "It's an interesting picture, it carries a certain cuteness to me that she has that picture and that quote in it because you know my feelings about the way she handled herself and the ethics of the way the prosecution handled it’s case. Cute clip."

Zimmerman's last painting sold for just north of $100,000.00.
