If there are no charges filed, and at this point it doesn't appear there will be, there won't be any court in which to refute or dispute anything. I highly doubt there will be a trial for the dissolution, or that any hearings will be televised. It's much, much more likely their case will basically be paperwork exchanged, filed, and an agreed order rubber-stamped by the judge, imo.

Liesel, I am just stating that there is a clear difference from the 911 call and the actual police reports as far as intention/threat level.

Rumpole, your right BDLR might actually have a run for the money.

I was going to write a critical review of the media on this case for my final communications project but I am starting to think that there is no way that this will be over by December.

I hate pressers where one can't hear the questions, and the speaker doesn't include the questions in their reply. :wall

I have seen a Traybot Worrier tweet about cops considering warrant to get access to Shellie's "iCloud"? any confirmation of that?

What would/could they have probable cause for?

I do as well. I always wonder if they actually are answering the question or just going off on a tangent.

guywitharod - we all know how easily I get confused, am trying to keep the facts straight. :) I don't find that difference to be as clear as you do - keep in mind, she's telling what her perceptions of events are, presumably. That her presumptions and those of others differ, from person to person, is normal, especially under the circumstances.

False (malicious) complaint?

Asault on GZ by Shellie?

Perjury? She is a KNOWN perjurer. :D

The line publicized is that for "Domestics" the Cops decide on charges..... I guess often one side decides not to follow through with a complaint.... the cops say they are awaiting iPad evidence before finally deciding.

Why would they need to prep him to testify to facts about the autopsy he was supposed to have completed?

...and the state did not call him.

I can see your point on that one. Before I met my wife I was engaged for three years to a woman before I broke it off. I am certain that we would not view situations in the same light. I just wonder if there was any embellishment added.

Embellishments are always added in 911 calls. Very rarely does what you are dispatched to is what really is happening,

Maybe they believe she stored video on iCloud. Other than that, it loks like a fishing trip in a minor domestic disturbance!

On another topic...

Shellie is really letting this 15 minutes of fame go to her head. Maybe she thinks this is a better tool to start a relationship with than Match Dot Com.

But in this case... hysterical raving about man threatening her and father with gun.... especially with "man" known to have shot somebody... COULD have resulted in a HUGE tragedy.... George shot by cops. I think it goes beyond just "slipsies" on Shellie's part.

So the question then becomes how much embellishment can be used before it is a false complaint?

Shellie still loves GZ. What's going on here is extreme jealousy on Shellie's part.

Probably, I could see hurt and pissed off as well. But that does not excuse placing someone in a situation that could prove to be fatal.

You can NOT know Shellie loves George?

And it is pointless to speculate... and irrelevant.

I think anger and vindictiveness is what we see here... and what is often seen in relationship break ups.

HOWEVER
Shellie is on probation... she NEEDS better legal advice... if she can not find some common sense by herself.

The police did what they had to do from the complaint. They had him at gun point to disarm him if necessary. Police aren't so stupid to just shoot someone from what is related to them from a 911 call.

In the "Fog" of a police take down ANYTHING can happen. There was an awful lot of shouting.. and some confusion seen on Dash cam. I can EASILY imagine George innocently moving an arm down towards his waist and being shot. Police training not withstanding... tragedies have often occurred!

What I am saying is that an "accident" could have happened anyway... but Shellie's hysterical warning about George actually SEEN with a gun and threatening made it much much worse.

Shellie is extremely lucky.
