I understand what you're saying, seeing_eye. Look at it this way, though: Even with the BGI
and the media in full-on-narrative mode virtually 24/7, GZ was acquitted. What has been the biggest turnout that the Trayparents™ have helped to bring out lately? Maybe, just
maybe ten thousand? Twenty, thirty thousand, tops? And that was MLK day. And that was with celebrities, etc. On their own, how many people can the scheme team get to show up? I mean for free, without being paid, or required by their job to go?
Ok, let's say that for every single person that has shown up, let's say there are roughly 10 more at home supporting "the J4TM™ cause." 30k x 10 = 300k people. That's a fraction of a % of the U.S. population.
And GZ was acquitted of the criminal charges in Florida. That's going to be a big black mark against a further prosecution in the minds of those who've never heard of the case and don't want to.
There's a reason you're not hearing anything about a federal charge. I suspect Trayparents™ have already been informed - in fact, didn't we already hear/read that they were told a prosecution is very unlikely? I think Holder has done all he can to assuage the hurt feelings of the Trayborg™. And he didn't get to where he is by being a complete idiot, he knows it.
The BGI has taken a big hit on this case, imo. The fact that they're attacking SYG to try to salvage some sort of a win to try to repair their image, such as it is, is a great sign of their defeat,
over this case. Did you read the blog on Holder linked above? That "conversation" isn't going anything like Holder and the rest of the BGI had expected. How much more of a hit do you think they're all willing to take
over this case? At some point, some DOJ or administration official (maybe Holder or President Obama) will have a quiet word with those who are still trying to salvage an image of being powerful despite the hit they just took, and they'll sit down and shut up. I expect this to happen before 2014 election season kicks in. They may bet on big minority turnout based on this "injustice" but I think it would risk an even bigger turnout about the real injustice, kwim?
I could be wrong, of course. But I hope you are.
