I should also explain for those who don't use their cell phones for texting, etc. very much: There is a whole website dedicated to collecting the sometimes hilarious outcomes when the cell phone auto-corrects for what it perceives as a spelling error. RT has a thread about auto-correct here.

Nonprofit releases PSA depicting final moments of Trayvon Martin's life

A nonprofit organization released a PSA Monday reenacting the rainy night Trayvon Martin was killed in Sanford.

The 90-second PSA produced by the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence depicts the final moments of Martin's life complete with the emergency calls made to police.

The group said the video was meant to spur activism against "Stand Your Ground."

Twenty-six states including Florida have the law on the books.

There have been 30 such cases in central Florida.

While George Zimmerman's attorneys didn't use "stand your ground" in his trial, it put the spotlight on the law.

"It was part of the trial, certainly language was part of the jury instructions," said Ladd Everitt with the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence.

"What we tried to do is imagine what it would be like to be in the midst of these things when it's happening," Everitt said about the video.

Absent from the video is a depiction of the confrontation between Zimmerman and Martin.

"There's a lot of, you know, doubt as to how that unfolded," Everitt said.

While his group is pushing viewers to appeal to lawmakers, Florida legislators made it clear they won't be calling a special session to review it.

Florida lawmakers have agreed to hold hearings this fall to address the self-defense law.
