Excellent find, FreeGZ, thanks for posting! I'm so glad to see the truth being presented in more and more places, like PoliceOne. :) And the police chief at the time, Bill Lee, was in an excellent position to know - not guess, not imagine, not hope, but know what was going on.

Again, thanks, FreeGZ, for the MOM info. :) I hope he's involved in some high-profile civil suits soon. Lots of 'em - not just one at a time - starting now, not next month. ;)

You know Sybrina, there's a good solution to your problem...STFU...

:Gslap Thanks for making an observation so blindingly true and obvious, one can't help but laugh. But make no mistake, she'd shut up if she still got paid as much for doing even less. It's all about the money. Well, at least until she started to fade, "star" that she is - then she'd be back sucking up attention that would be much more helpful being on other cases and issues.

Zimmerman attorney details battle with prosecutors over evidence in murder trial

Zimmerman attorney details battle with prosecutors over evidence in murder trial

“He could bring civil action against Angela Corey for statement she made outside the courtroom. Also, he could file a grievance against her with the Florida Bar,” WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer said.

Sheaffer asked O’Mara whether he intends to drop the issue.

“I am not done with that motion. I’m not done with Angela Corey. And we are going to be seeing more of each other. We’ll see how that turns out,” said O’Mara. “This is because this is not supposed to be how we practice as lawyers.”

That last 30 seconds is the news. Recall the small crowds disrupting city operations - less that one tenth of one percent of the county population - to get an arrest then a trial. Well now the paid moaners at the state offices, those eating food delivered, will get a hearing on the SYG law.

It's who complains the loudest for the longest period...

I :heart Mark O'Mara!

He is not flashy but he is very tenacious. Don West is the Ying to his Yang. I am willing to bet that they are both licking their chops of the prospect of going after Corey and her band of (I am not sure what to call them so I will go with) arseholes!!!

Sorry to see that Wes Weatherford, according to the treehouse has decided to call for a review of the Florida SYG law. Looks like the pressure was too much and the legislature has caved to the demands of the Capital protesters and the Crump entourage.

Yes, kbp and taurus, that's certainly the big news. When will they learn that appeasement never works and just invites more of the same? The law was already reviewed last year, but hey, it's taxpayer money, so it's not like it costs anything. :wall :wall

Hiya, DebFrmHell! :)

Ditto and no doubt. It's personal - MOM and West are offended and rightfully so. That is not how the system is supposed to work and according to them, wasn't how it worked with the local prosecutors. Any decent lawyer gets offended when the legal system is perverted, and that they were personally involved... yeah, I'd say they're going to have that righteous anger motivating them. :)

Well, but, all they wanted was an "arress." Now all they want is to overturn SYG. See?? Oh, and to make it retroactive so they can sue Zimmerman. Oh, and probably something else when they get that. :TF

Good morning, auscitizenmom! :)

Yeah, that's exactly how it goes - appeasement only leads to more appeasement. Just an arresssss; just a day in court; just a conviction; just repealing a good law that was recently reviewed and found to be just; just one more thing, forevermore. :wall

Mike McDaniel has a super long article covering many topics up. Excerpting any part of it won't do it justice. The Trayvon Martin Case, Update 36.5: Knowledge and Heritage

In the Stately McDaniel Manor piece, Mike quotes a tweet from @Smithsonian, "Despite reports, we are not currently seeking to add [TM™'s] hoodie to our collections." Make of that what you will. :)
