IDK. I side with them on the Dunn case. That he left the scene and returned to his hotel room leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
it is a common reaction that drunk drivers do when they have had a wreck (at least around these parts.) They run away only to be found later when their BAC is normal.
Freely admit, though, I haven't read the discovery or delved into it very much.
Nice to cyber see you, DebFrmHell!
I don't know enough about the Dunn case to have a firm opinion, and agree there are several points that make him look bad. What keeps me from running with that and firming up an opinion against Dunn are 1)the TM™ debacle and all of the lies told around it, meaning I can't know what's true or not about this case which may be another pack of lies to foment racial tensions and line the pockets of unscrupulous lawyers - once bitten twice shy and all of that; 2)the history of teens and especially groups of teens embracing a thug culture and the plausibility of them at least pretending to have a weapon and making threats; 3)that Dunn's gf was in the store so he couldn't very well leave her there to escape... off the top of my head, without following the case. Oh, and 4)JQ is against Dunn!

Good rule of thumb when in doubt is to go against JQ 'borg and Freddie's brain dead crew.

(Joking - I don't make
any decisions based on anything any of them post.)
But again, the points you raised are just as, and maybe more important. I may watch the trial to figure out what's what, but the pre-trial hype, at least for now, isn't something I'm making time for. I hope the guy gets a fair trial; I hope GZ's case plays no role in it whether overtly or surreptitiously.
Of course, I'd want that for the 3 teens who viciously beat a younger boy on a school bus, if they weren't already virtually guaranteed a sentence of at most 9 months probation, no juvenile detention. Cos they were charged as minors, of course, and then may be able to get their records sealed in the future. I mean, we all know snitches get stiches, right? So that's not an aggravating circumstance, that's just following the thug code.
Florida has charged a 12 year old as an adult for pushing his brother; another 11 or 12 old at the time of the crime of beating a homeless guy to death, part of a group of much older boys, tagging along for the most part, was charged as an adult and sentenced to life in prison with no possibility of parole at the ripe old age of 14, iirc. But these three, a year older than him when he was sentenced, 3-4 years older at the time of the crime, they get charged as juveniles and get probation. Their victim only had a broken arm, ribs, and the snot beat out of him. SMH

Maybe when they kill someone for telling on their drug dealing they'll get tried as adults and actually sent to jail.
That's some really heart-wrenching daft going on in the Florida judicial system when it comes to minors, imo.
