Sorry, I haven't been able to listen yet but I am certainly intrigued by your description and it's near the top of my to-do list. Ok, it's at the very top of mine, but my family has other plans for me that must be taken care of first. ;)

    Ben Kruidbos was fired after testifying at a June 6 hearing that photos and text messages from Trayvon Martin‘s cell phone were not turned over to the defense, as required by law. Kruidbos’ attorney Wesley White told Reuters news agency that he will be filing a whistleblower lawsuit against the office of Angela Corey and Bernie de la Rionda, who were appointed to prosecute the case against Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch captain who fatally shot Martin in February 2012.

Morgan stated what her attorney represented to him, which included both an excuse and the claim she spoke more than one language. A means of casting about such a claim in a manner in which it cannot be challenged.

The main reason judgments have been made about her by many came from how AND what she testified to, which leaves me wondering if she speaks any language fluently …well, maybe other than some version of "hood" that can only be interpreted by her and a few within the community where she resides.

ADD: The excuse seems like it would have to be a TWO YEAR illness that held her back. Would this lead to another hospital tale?

That was one of the best interviews ever!

So RJ was a genius before Trayvon was shot. She missed school because of illness, which accounts for her being 19 and a junior in HS. She can speak 3 languages, did anyone hear her? BTW, I can say FU in 3 languages, does that count as speaking 3 languages? Did the stress of Trayvon's death cause her to not be able to read cursive. How much more absurd can this get...

gmta kbp and flgirl543. I posted similar thoughts to both of you - I don't think she speaks fluent English and have no idea how fluent she is in the other languages her parents presumably do speak fluently.

I know a lot of school children and used-to-be school children. I have been volunteering in the local schools for more than 20 years. Plus, our kids have always had friends over, and our youngest's bff is Hispanic/latino. Almost all of the kids I've ever known whose parents' first language is not English spoke their parents' language as well as they speak English. (This is my impression, based on my very limited ability to understand the other language, of course, and also watching them interact with native speakers, and interpreting.)

My point in all of this is, I'm just simply not very impressed with anyone who can speak the same language as their parents. It is a given, in my experience, a virtual certainty. And I'm very not impressed with RJ's ability to speak English.

Does anyone know where to find NG transcripts? I think a transcript could be very helpful in trying to understand this girl.

Within the first 2 minutes, RJ says she doesn't remember what they were talking about other than TM™ was trying to get [home]. She then adds in "wind" during the missing 4 minutes, indicating in her opinion, movement; and TM™ breathing hard and talking loud (not quietly), and other details. I think she said GZ followed him all the way to Brandy's. She's very difficult to understand.

And she heard a punch, no not a punch, a push. She is apparently very experienced with TM™ fighting while she listened (or psychic), to recognize the sound of either over the phone and to be able to differentiate between the two. :wall

Then around 7:00 she gets into the "rapist" nonsense, says TM™ took her suggestion seriously. She made a big point of TM™ not being an adult as he was painted (in her opinion), he was a teenager. At least she didn't describe him as a 12 year old that she used to babysit. ;)

At around 12:00 she whines about defense attorney "attacking" her and makes excuses for not being credible to juror who went to media. Goes on to discuss instructions from her attorney to tell the truth, and from the state to not give details. Also she was told she'd only testify about an hour and she was offended by West's questions.
