It seems the lady who heard 3 gunshots thinks the jury got it wrong.

Apparently the hysterical witness Jayne Sudyka is on Dr Drew tonight... and Traybots love her? :lol

"Dr. Drew has an exclusive with the trial witness who swore that the screams on the 911 call came from the teen."

Stand Your Ground For–Social Justice?

Justice, or social justice? In the George Zimmerman case, justice was done, though at horrific and continuing cost to an innocent man. The continuing uproar comes from those who demand social justice, an irrational lust for a utopian condition that can never be realized or satisfied.

One expects the media to get it wrong. Badly wrong. Ridiculously wrong. As long as whatever they’re reporting conforms to their preferred narrative lines–i.e. progressive philosophy–virtually any story is simply too good to check. And so it is with the George Zimmerman story, from before the arrest to Zimmerman’s July 13, 2013 exoneration.

Just the thought of that syrupy spectacle... :NN20

So, I suppose this means they'll have a book coming out soon. :Q4

Hi, DiwataMan! :28 Nice to see you back here. :)

Ditto but I don't share your skepticism - I think GZ will file against any and all that may result in a hefty payout. He doesn't have much choice. Right now it doesn't look like he'll ever be able to have a normal job, much less pursue the career(s) he was working toward when he was attacked. Shellie is not in much better shape. He may wait until her case is resolved, but if there is a cause of action, I think he'll go for it. Besides, he has lawyers who'll likely be researching all of the ways GZ can get paid and they can collect a %. ;)

I'd like to know where Norm Wolfinger is too. Please let us know if you hear anything. :)

regarding Rachel and the offer to send her through college ... I have a hard time believing she will do anything that takes her away from her daily routine of wasting hour after hour talking and texting on the phone. She admitted on TV that she was surprised at the amount of time she spends with phone. She is obviously "addicted". The phone addiction is hard to break for lots of ppl and I think Rachel is over the top addicted. She simply in my opinion does not have the resolve for higher education. They should leave her alone. By offering to put her through ... they are practically forcing her to accept. Rachel doesn't like "change". She is set in her ways at the tender age of 19. I think she likes all this putting on makeup and dolling up for TV interviews, and she might enjoy being a co-host on a show like ... lol ... The View !!!!

But for her to do (school) .... WORK !!!!! omg ... no ... that's not gonna happen. She's gonna pull a Maynard G. Krebs on that ... or ... they simply will say they tutored her and that she graduated college (doctor records) and then state she has joined Mensa.

I do predict tho she will become a TV personality of some kind.

Hi, Ottawa925! :51 Good to cyber see you. :)

You seem to know #8 pretty well... (joking!)

I agree that she's unwilling and likely completely unable to do the work required in college. I think she likes the idea of being a college student though. Didn't she put that on one of her social media profiles, that she was a college student? And you know why those evil teachers expect her to do work, study, and even get up early... racists. ;)

She'll not only accept the offer, imo, I'll be very surprised if at some point she doesn't say, "Do you know who I am?" :Gslap

I hope my post did not sway you towards making any judgments that may not be fully accurate. The aunt mentioned something like: ''he lives with us as much as anybody'. The older pictures of Trayvon looked like a kid from a good family home, a child with a full schedule of activities providing attention from that family. What we know now indicates his family life went downhill the last couple years of his life, he was left wanting for guidance.

NO !!...I'm the type of person who will read everything I can get my eyes on (from cereal boxes to toilet paper plastic)...I came to my conclusion from various articles I have come across.

It seems, that when Trayvon was that cute, smiley, "I love you mommy" 12 y/o....they just adored and pined on his every word and move. When he hit...oh, lets say, 14...with the attitude, the "I know everything"...etc...is when they decided "uh oh" and didn't know what to do. We as parents have all been though that stage. (I have to go through it one more time, and it's not something on my 'to do' list)...That's when things got tough, and even tougher when he decided that when he wasn't getting what he needed at home, he was gonna turn elsewhere, and that got him in trouble.

From what I have read, he was a rebellious teen, and was handed off from person to person. No one knew what to do with him, or how to handle him. It is beyond sad, but very very true. He had ZERO direction in his life, so he chose his own direction, being young and stupid...and look where it got him.

I agree with this 100%....GZ's attorney's aren't going to stop at a not guilty verdict...they are going to set him up for life. I bet they sit at home, in their BVD's, watching every news channel available, listing names of all they can pursue, with a positive outcome, in civil court....Just the thought of this make me want to partake in another beer..... :91

Although I think you have stated it very well, I think there was one other factor, or maybe two, that affected the outcome of his life. His father evidently was involved in some kind of gang affiliation, loved twerkin (gag, gag, gag), sorry, got drunk, smoked weed, fooled around on his (whatever at the moment), and was involved in buying or selling guns with Trayvon. What a great rolemodel!! And, his (ahem) mother evidently was trawling for another (ahem, suitor). :98

Politics shouldn't force federal case vs. Zimmerman
By Andrew C. McCarthy, Special to CNN
July 17, 2013 -- Updated 2000 GMT (0400 HKT)

(CNN) -- We have a Department of Justice, not a Department of Social Justice. That is an essential distinction. It is brought into sharp relief by politicized demands that George Zimmerman, having just been acquitted of murder by the state of Florida, be subjected to a second prosecution -- a federal civil rights indictment -- over the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.

The Justice Department has earned the trust of the United States courts precisely because it resists the politicization of law enforcement. Its tradition is to ensure the equal protection of law for every American, to evaluate cases strictly on the basis of facts and law, and to recognize its obligations not only to the community but also to criminal suspects.

I'm watching the re run now. Excellent.

Pundits were saying B73 called GZ George and that showed her bias. She also called TM Trayvon. Funny how they overlooked that.
