I hope my post did not sway you towards making any judgments that may not be fully accurate. The aunt mentioned something like: ''he lives with us as much as anybody'. The older pictures of Trayvon looked like a kid from a good family home, a child with a full schedule of activities providing attention from that family. What we know now indicates his family life went downhill the last couple years of his life, he was left wanting for guidance.
NO !!...I'm the type of person who will read everything I can get my eyes on (from cereal boxes to toilet paper plastic)...I came to my conclusion from various articles I have come across.
It seems, that when Trayvon was that cute, smiley, "I love you mommy" 12 y/o....they just adored and pined on his every word and move. When he hit...oh, lets say, 14...with the attitude, the "I know everything"...etc...is when they decided "uh oh" and didn't know what to do. We as parents have all been though that stage. (I have to go through it one more time, and it's not something on my 'to do' list)...That's when things got tough, and even tougher when he decided that when he wasn't getting what he needed at home, he was gonna turn elsewhere, and that got him in trouble.
From what I have read, he was a rebellious teen, and was handed off from person to person. No one knew what to do with him, or how to handle him. It is beyond sad, but very very true. He had ZERO direction in his life, so he chose his own direction, being young and stupid...and look where it got him.
