Is the defense's animated timeline IN or OUT?

Don't know yet, Puzzler. The witness arrived and the state asked to depose him. The judge allowed it and will hear the issue in the morning, 8:30, iirc.

That raises question: How desperate did the prosecution have to be to use Traybro™ knowing he'd be impeached that way? Any rebuttal witnesses the state puts on may be even worse than Traybro™!

They wanted to put on Reich to testify about his auditory hallucinations. That sets the desperate bar much lower than mere equivocation.

Reich is his own punch line, isn't he?

Just in case anyone missed it -- The state was challenging the testimony of Singleton and Serino. The defense had to call Traydad™ or the testimony of Singleton ad Serino describing his denial the voice was TM™ would have been stricken. They may have planned to call him anyway; who knows? But it didn't seem like it to me, otherwise, they'd have had him in the line with LE, kwim? This came out after the jury was excused for the day. The state dropped their challenge because Traydad™ was called, thereby getting around the hearsay exclusion because the declarant was available for cross exam and the hearsay witnesses contradicted his testimony.

I heard there was a MOM presser tonight. Does anyone know where I can find a link to it?

Just finished reading about the happenings at trial today. Had to be a day that I couldn't watch...was out of town on business most of the day.

Does anyone have any idea who this defense witness that was mentioned today.

Cooper?

I have not seen one, and he is on Pierce Morgan tonight... maybe find that somewhere?

In mulling over the day, it seems to me there was something that's potentially very important that's not getting talked about very much. That is the description of MMA - how it happens. That fits the scenario of TM/GZ. Especially if the defense gets another witness to talk about TM's fighting - Rachel perhaps?

I doubt there was a presser because it was already late when the live feeds turned off so the state could depose the defense's witness(es). Who knows how long that took? I don't think the press would hang around that long, kwim? Maybe that was the plan before they were so late and adding depo(s)?

I thought it was Schumacher or Shoemaker, something like that, who did the animation video, and also maybe another depo of DiMaio. I thought I had heard he had added something to his opinion and the state wanted more info from DiMaio about the change, so there were maybe two depos after the late end of court today.

Good point. Yes, I think West wants another crack at #8 and that may be why. I suspect the defense is going to try to get in more character evidence about TM™, even if they have to backdoor it. They were pretty clever getting the good character evidence about GZ in today.

Thanks for the heads up. Even though I can't stand Piers, I will watch tonight.

I have not found a vid... but people's comments suggest Pierce is as bad as ever.

STILL pushing the false narrative that George was told to stay in his truck!! :wall

I think it was mainly to counteract the prosecution's silly inference that because Mr. Zimmerman belonged to the gym that he was a trained fighter.

It also reinforces Mr. Good's testimony about how "ground and pound" cripples an opponent.

Oh he is. I watched him tonight and he is still pushing the false narrative. It is so obvious he wants GZ punished.

MoM was great. Piers can't screw with him.

I have always thought he should go back to England and give an American a shot at his job.

A Note on site navigation

It has come to my attention that people do not see a lot of what gets posted at RT.

The best way to check on all the activity.. when you log on, as well as subsequently is to use the links across the top of all the pages

View unanswered posts | View active topics....................... View unread posts | View new posts | View your posts

I need to see everything that gets posted here and I do that by clicking on "View New Posts"

That list clears if you log off, so you may prefer "View active topics" or one of the others

IF you have something NEW that is not being discussed at the moment.....

View the INDEX - there will almost certainly be a suitable thread already... or we will create one
