West is masterful. He uses a cheesy joke to portray himself as self-deprecating, in stark contrast to Lord Farquaad wanna-be John Guy.

Then, he proceeds directly into actual facts and evidence, starting with the aerial layout of RATL.

I didn't either. I hope he improves.

I think it was *supposed* to be a bad joke, and intended to make himself look bad. It makes him come across as self-deprecating, in contrast with the act put on by Guy.

Maybe I'm jumping the gun (no pun intended), not liking this opening. This should be saved for later. After Guy's dramatic fairy tale, to technical at this point.

I though West was put off by the objection.. the joke might have well fitted following a personal anecdote... IMO the joke was sort of sharply out of place? Not a big deal though.

It will upset the Traybots.... that is a PLUS
