I think the reasons given her conviction that she's not been moved to Perryvale is simply that they wouldn't be able to define which part of the prison she should be in. There are two sections for women, one is death row and the other is for the lifers, so she doesn't fall into either category right now.

It is difficult to know what the jury are thinking about, and far more difficult if you are not sitting on that jury to understand what it will have been like for them, they have had much to consider. One of the things I think about is that Arias' defense attorney asked the people to consider that she still has a worthwhile place in society for the rest of her life, and therefore this did not warrant her being put to death - much to give still. Well I know the defense team have to do the best for their client - but what I'd say is, her victim which she never gave two thoughts to, he also had much still to contribute of a worth while nature to his life and others - go think about that. This is what would have made a decision a bit easier for me. I know I'm not alone. But, I think for the jury to have to sit and decide someone's fate, even if her death sentence were not carried out for years subject to all the various appeals, they would still have to live comfortably with reaching their ultimate decision - for some jurors that may not be easy.

I recall just after the trial finished that one or two jurors had received quite nasty looks from her. I hope that Travis Alexander's family will be successful in their private prosecution because one thing I'd hate to happen here (and it's not totally out of the question) is that Jodi Arias profits from the carnage she created on June 4th 2008.

Let's remember this is a somewhat unusual case, in that for a murder scene there are photographs almost showing a time lapse of events (we don't normally see that). Then there is the salacious sexual side to this case - all of which will either sell movies or books. I noted a lot of times when Jodi Arias appeared to sit at her defence desk as if the trial was about someone else - she seemed to me at times, almost uninterested and sat writing stuff as if she was an attorney, or college professor.

Maybe she does think at times that she is someone that she is not. She sure tried to act like a lawyer or instructor when was on the stand. And how so very careful she worded her responses as if she were trained. She may be one who is never wholly in the real world.

I'm not sure that it's a good idea to show that life time movie about her before her sentencing yet I believe they are. I thought they showed the Scott Peterson movie beforehand too.

I WAS angry and wondered much of the time when I was watching Jodi during the trial, if she was doing some of her "art work"? Making $$$$ during her trial?? It can't draw from life, and all "IT" can do is copy other people's subject matter, etc. How horrendous, IF she WAS copying, and making money DURING her trial. I would hope Lifetime didn't even have to speak to her. All the information is out there already... and we ALL KNOW, she LIES.

Amazing isn't she? ALWAYS "Mary Poppins SPIN" on EVERYTHING! "I can't look at his family because he abused me, and they look just like him." SO --- KEEP GOING BACK??? No REAL abuse victim runs TOWARD her abuser... they run FROM THEM! Been there, done that. I suspect some on the jury had been abused - and told the others the way REAL abuse victims operate. I believe in her twisted mind, when Travis broke off with her, THAT was HIS ABUSE!! Imagine how he must have felt, when his personality, image, upbeat energy, is WHAT HE SOLD in his career. I think she intended to send a copy of that tape to each and every new girl Travis tried to date and possibly start a relationship with. And too, I bet she TOLD him that! SHE BETRAYED him, by taping some intimate bedtime talk. Travis did sound very, very tired on that tape, but that is the way she planned it. HE was no match for her ... and by the time he really got to know what she was, SCUM, her talons were too deeply imbedded in him. She WANTED that life - and him. Often, the photo of Travis, about age 16 pops into my head. Such a clean cut kid ... with a SKANK who KNEW the only way she could get him or "buy" some of his time was thru her ANYTHING GOES sex. SICKENING! Could have been our son, or nephew...

Love too how she told the detective that mostly, SHE broke up with him. She wishes!

Well it's only going to be you folks in the States who will see that movie, unless there's something on line, I won't be able to see it over here, and our media won't pick it up.

I followed the Scott Peterson trial from day 1, but I can't recall if the movie about him was shown before or after the trial, but there's something in my mind that it was after sentencing.

I don't think originally she was his dirty little secret. Two consenting adults. Only when he tried to break it off, and she kept coming back like a d*** mosquito, did she then become his dirty little secret? She kept throwing herself at him ... and since she wouldn't ALLOW HIM to start any other new relationship... he fell back into the black hole? Easy to understand I guess... poor guy.

Having 2 jobs would be stressful for anyone, and he did. I can understand Travis then. Convenient, always available Call Girl. Only thing odd was SHE called HIM ... I believe. Some people just can't take NO for an answer, can they...

Another thing I heard was that SHE wanted to be the last person Travis had sex with.
I wondered too, if she wanted him *totally exhausted* too, easier to kill?

I don't think we will ever know Joni - one of the things about a murderer is that he/she always wants to hold something back that only he/she knows - that's the power thing too. I think in Jodi's case she was mad because she really couldn't have what she wanted, as it's my belief that she thought she'd found that in Travis. I don't think it was love either, I think she just thought she'd found someone. He was the reason she became a Mormon, she thought she would be the only woman he would need or want - sadly for him, she found out that this was not so, he really wanted a 'good mormon girl' and once she realized she wasn't it - she made sure no one else would be - i think it's that simple.

WH I think you are right. I read too she became many religions. Whatever boy du jour was, SHE became. How weak and sick is that? At least 4-5 I think.

I have noticed too that those who are nothing, really WANT POWER... more than the rest of us. We don't NEED that to feel whole, healthy, alive.

That is a very strange disorder she has, and I do think she DOEs have it... Borderline Personality Disorder. I think the lines blur where one ends and the other starts once they sink their talons in you.

Friend who lives in AZ just wrote to me. In her paper today, it says there is a program directly following "Dirty Little Secret", called "Jodi Arias - Beyond the Headlines."

So two programs, back to back tonight starting at 8 PM about the slasher!

Oh darn! I missed both shows. Did anyone see it? Did it seem accurate?

I wonder if Jodi will be able to watch the movie?

I heard something about Jodi taking a shower over his body. I wondered why she dragged him back to the shower. I thought to wash off her DNA? I guess she would have to wash the blood off of her too!

The final act of DISDAIN maybe? I think "borderlines" can love and turn to HATE on a dime!!! I think the murder was being orchestrated the minute she finished reading Travis' very angry email to her. Two days later the gun was "stolen" from her Grandparents house... only THAT ONE, the others were left. NO THEIF leaves guns! Wonder what else she did to show her hatred? I am surprised she didn't castrate him. Must be a reason, time running out? The roommates might be returning?

Mal maybe it will be on youtube like most of the other things are. Watch your paper. THEY often DO RERUNS on these "biggies" - during the next week.

I'll keep my eye on youtube to see if there's anything on there after the shows have been aired in the States, as that will be my best way to watch, then again, maybe I'll not bother, but it will be interesting to see how closely the tv versions line up with what we saw and heard in court.

I woke up in the middle of the night ... and the 2 shows were running - AGAIN! I recall they DO THAT when they have good specials. Probably on again today ... I would guess.

One line that I remember that Travis said - "Jodi, did I EVER tell you that I loved you?" She said "No." He said "We are friends, that's what we are. I enjoy your company, we're friends." She freaked out - FRIENDS???!!!

Nothing about both in the shower together. Friend told me she read something about that on Facebook. Good programs, well done, not gory, sensitive and classy IF one can do a film about Jodi Ann Arias and do it in a "classy" way. THEY TRIED - hard!

Bet it will be on today, again... and during the week. BOTH of them. They seem to be a "set".
