Rumpole, I want to tell you what a wonderful job you are doing with RT. It has been so helpful to follow the jury information. I am watching it on TV, but your transcripts really helped when I missed or didn't understand something that was said, which happened a lot. :83

I had to laugh. The way you have things organzed is so ................well, organized. I envision your brain like a filing cabinet, divided up perfectly into folders. I think mine is more like a big wicker basket that papers get thrown into. :Gslap

Great Job! :52

I want to second this. I wasn't able to watch this mornings proceedings, but knew I would be able to come here and get all the details. Thank you to Rumpole and other posters who do the play by play.

Thanks Ladies :blush

ONE of my heroes is "Marvin" the Paranoid (Depressed) Android in Hitchhikers Guide to the galaxy...

He often opines about "having a brain the size of a planet"..... that's me :lol

Provided it is noticed and appreciated I enjoy organizing stuff :roll

So thank you both :give :give

Now...... please spread the word.... especially to those still stuck at JQ... I have seen their GZ threads... especially the Trial threads... not a pretty site* at all :eek

What WERE they thinking when the banned Rumpole :lol

* "site" was a real typo... I meant "sight".... but NOT A PRETTY SITE... also works :slap

Oh, they are very pissed and threatening it already. I have even seen tweets suggesting they should start protesting the jury selection without even waiting for a verdict. When you guys need to rebut this foolishness, remind them the state struck a black male juror and failed to use its remaining six or so strikes to move further down the jury line.

I have watched tapes Pt. 5, 6 & 7 three times each. E22 was struck after M75. I could NOT find that segment of the jury selection.

RZJr always does... with both sympathetic and hostile interviewers....
I have no idea what he does for a living.. but I can see a career in TV commentary (or politics).... if he chooses.

I don't know about you but I do not see a microphone on TM's earbuds. I only see what looks like a volume dial.

I have headphones with the mic inside, so you can't see them. They're a 10+ year old inexpensive set, so I assume his could function as a mic.

I'm not an expert on earbuds, but I've had a set that looked almost exactly like the ones pictured. And if that's the case, that's a volume control, and *not* a microphone.

The cheap set I had was for walkietalkie type communication (while snow skiing) and the mic was voice activated, located inside the ear plugs. They looked like plain earbuds also, so that's why I assume these could work that way.

I wouldn't mind being sequestered. Get away from everyday life and have everything done for me including food. I think it would be fun with 6 women. I think you can get some alone time.

CNN reports the "Fast Facts" people should know about the Trayvon Martin shooting.

The first fact appears to be a lie right off the bat. :doh

Facts:
Trayvon Benjamin Martin, born February 5, 1995, was a 17-year-old African-American high school student who lived in Miami Gardens, Florida with his mother Sybrina Fulton. In February 2012, Martin was visting his father Tracy Martin in Sanford, Florida after receiving a ten-day suspension from Krop Senior High School. The suspension stemmed from the discovery of drug residue in Martin's book bag.

Thanks......

I see what you mean :wall

I don't want to publicize the nonsense.... but as you say.... they get it wrong from the outset.....

Quote:
Facts:

Timeline:
February 26, 2012 - George Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch captain in Sanford, Florida, calls 911 to report "a suspicious person" in the neighborhood. He is instructed not to get out of his SUV or approach the person. Zimmermandisregards the instructions. Moments later, neighbors report hearing gunfire. Zimmerman acknowledges that he shot Martin, claiming it was in self-defense. In a police report, Officer Timothy Smith writes that Zimmerman was bleeding from the nose and back of the head.

THAT is NOT just a simple error ... it is a compound fabrication.... stuff actually inserted from nowhere... it could only have been done intentionally. I do hope George's civil attorneys are keeping a LARGE file on this sort of stuff
