The prosecution objects to the use of a 2009 magazine article from “IEEE Signal Processing.” Judge Nelson says Wayman cannot testify about what someone else wrote.

Mantei says he also objects on the grounds of improper bolstering.

Judge Nelson cites 90.6 of the evidence code saying the articles can only be used for cross-examination.
