Particularly a young dog - they are very much guided by their sense of smell, more so than their sight.

How old IS little Napoleon?
Ha, yes. I have a Beagle. Walks with nose 1" from the gorund.

She is failing now though ... maybe 94 or so? Hard to tell with rescues. She had a good
life with me. Bi-coastal...

Nobody can take stress - it KILLS. Especially older creatures.
So glad SKANK WAS found GUILTY!!! That's the big thing! YESSSSS!

I think her attention seeking attitude tells me too, that this woman never truly intended committing suicide - to be honest, most suicides don't discuss it or tell anyone they were thinking about it.

I don't know how old Napoleon is now but he will be quite old in doggy years because he was still young five years ago when Travis died, perhaps he's 8 or 9 now only reason I'm saying this is because whenever my dogs have gone blind and or deaf it usually happens at around 9 years old, perhaps with my Bobby he went blind before he went deaf and he was 8 when he lost his sight.

I am grateful that Travis DID have a Will and this little guy is with someone who loves him... Deanna.

How different and colder our lives would be without their company ...

Going to work now - in the house.

Prosecutors still plan to pursue death penalty for convicted murderer

(CBS/AP) PHOENIX - Authorities plan to try again to secure the death penalty for convicted murderer Jodi Arias after jurors in her trial deadlocked last month on a sentence.
Arias was convicted of murder May 8 in the 2008 killing of boyfriend Travis Alexander at his suburban Phoenix home.

About two weeks later, the same panel failed to reach a unanimous decision on whether to sentence Arias to life in prison or death. Before they began deliberations, Arias begged for a life sentence, asking for her life to be spared for her family's sake.

While her murder conviction stands, prosecutors have the option of pursuing a new penalty phase aiming for the ultimate punishment or avoid it altogether, leading to a life sentence for Arias.

Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery said Wednesday that his office is preparing for a retrial.

A new panel will need to be seated before the next penalty phase can proceed. If the second panel cannot reach a unanimous agreement, the judge will then sentence Arias to either her entire life in prison or life in prison with the possibility of release after 25 years.

Thanks for the article. I don't expect the Alexander family to want anything less than the death penalty for Jodi.

I'm sure this was their decision, with Martinez standing strong behind them.

Saw a bit of the JVM show tonight. They were discussing the effect of the Lifetime Movie - "Dirty Little Secret" - on the new Arias jury.

Wendy Murphy said, "it's already too late anyway - they've been exposed to the SEXUAL CYANIDE." :Gslap

JVM showed clip of Sheriff Joe stating how well behaved Jodi has been and has only been caught with CRAYONS. JVM is outraged because of a new report that says everything Joni has been saying here - that Jodi has been caught: hiding pens, hiding moisturizing cream, 19 pictures she should not have had, attacked another inmate, etc., etc.

One of the lawyers said that if defense says anything about Jodi being a "model citizen" in jail, Juan Martinez can whip out this report of her constantly breaking the rules.

Then clips of that asshat juror 18 - the foreman - coming out and confirming (like we didn't already know!) he was one of the four who voted no death. He is in this purely for the publicity and should be shut down!

I don't have a link, but I even read that he said that there were more holdouts, but they slowly decided death and before anymore could change their mind, he decided deliberations were over.

I just want to do this to him ----> :Q3

eta - sorry about the bad word, I normally never write curse words, but between this jerk and the Zimmerman trial, my head is exploding!! :WW

Remote me too!! I have about had it!
Like that song I used to do ...
Blizzard Of Lies :DN4
Everywhere we turn!!!
I almost feel like I am caught in a violent avalanche of snow/lies.

THANK GOD Jodi Ann Arias was found GUILTY of Murder 1. Thank you God!!

The jurors are lying too, as I KNEW they would. For what purpose (good lawyer's question)?
What about Jodi's next batch? They will no doubt lie too just to get on!

And the other one - get on to convict G.? To get their justice for T? To gain $$$$ from books, and God knows what else?

The REAL QUALITY, truthful, honest friends we have ... we REALLY should cherish. They are like a breath of fresh air! Like beautiful orchids. There seem to be so many *weeds* out there...

I missed that ... "THAT DEAD GUY!!" OMG. Jodi Ann Anus has titillated another one. :WW

That's how I feel, too, Joni! Thank you God for the Guilty of Murder 1!

Juror 18 also believed her abuse claim by Travis. I can't believe he has the gall to get on National TV and spout these stupidities!

Generally, I feel the Jury Foreman got about 85% of the facts. Why couldn't he "get it" that the fighting emails were near the VERY VERY END, like 1 week plus, before his death?
How would that idiot feel if some SKANK was -

Repeatedly breaking into his house via his doggie door and sometimes hiding in his closet or sleeping on his sofa?
Peeking into his windows at the back of the house - spying on Travis and his dates WHEN they had broken up?
Walking into his girlfriend's house while he was there and her ALARM went off!
Slashed his EXPENSIVE tires, twice. VERY costly and did it right around Christmas time. Don't we all have expenses then, and TWICE??? What was Travis to think - this will NEVER END?? Every week??
Slashed his girlfriend's tires once.
Hacked into his BANK ACCOUNT.
Sent messages to Travis' current girlfriend, whoever, that were supposedly send by Travis.
Sent threatening messages to each of his new girlfriends.
Hacked into his social places on the net.
Bought/took his car and was a very slow in starting to pay off the loan.
Taped him during intimate calls, and NOT telling him.
Threatening to USE the tape to blackmail him. EMOTIONAL BLACKMAIL!

How is this for starters, Mr. Foreman? AND DO - - note the time of the upset email from Travis. This had been going on for months and months!! HOW MUCH does one have to TAKE from a SICKO???

So the D. wants a delay. What else is new? Things happen, witnesses die, fires, things get lost AND - - they KNOW the public FORGETS. The further away from the nasty trial, the better for Jodi I think. We all know that.
Look how people FORGOT about Ted Kennedy and Mary Jo K. He swam away, she had about an hour's worth of air maybe (?) in that pocket in the ceiling. Time to save her? RIGHT!

How can the public predict the future Jodi? LOOK AT THE PAST!
Let's see:
You kicked your little dog, AND you kicked your mother. YOU are STILL KICKING! (WHY didn't you join a soccer club? Too wholesome for you?) You are STILL doing it! You did it to your cell mate! Did you kick poor Travis too???
You shoved another one into the cell wall.

So how does one predict the future? Look at the PAST! She is a loose cannon!!

Jodi Arias too, is like a predatory, wild, RABID animal!!!
THIS **LOSER** (and for SURE she knows it!!!), takes her many frustrations out on whoever she can. I worry about that issue with a lot of people...

Anyone know where we can see that list - the 16 pages of Jodi Ann Arias' infringements during her jail stay?

http://radaronline.com/exclusives/2013/ ... cell-mate/

I found some jail rules that Jodi has broken. (See video).

So WHAT IS with Sherriff Joe O.?? I think on 2 occasions I heard him ONLY mention hidden CRAYONS - her ONLY crimes. AND, ALWAYS happy to add - "SHE WON our talent contest!"
Nothin' From Nothin' Leaves Nothin' :DN4

She hid CRAYONS?? Pens are dangerous. Crayons aren't. Last time I looked they are being used in Nursery Schools.

BTW I LOVE that **SCREECHY FLAT** high note!!! OH SPARE ME!!!

Jury sequestered in the Z. case! No surprise.

Delay the trial until JANUARY 2014????

:lol

I think Jennifer Willmott is back on the bong:

1) "Miss Arias advised the court that Patricia Womack was not willing to return to Arizona to testify on Ms. Arias' behalf because she had been threatened.........." (bless their hearts, they want the court to believe what Ms. Arias states :Gslap )

2) "Due to Ms. Arias' inability to present a complete picture to the jury, Ms. Arias then chose not to present witnesses." (because Nurmi threw a hissy fit in court when Patricia Womack CHOSE not to testify due to her lies and FEAR of Juan Martinez)

Blatant lie about Patricia Womack (that she didn't testify due to death threats, just like LaVIolette :roll ).

Patricia just said on Jane VM that she didn't want to testify for Jodi. They only knew each other years ago, when very very young. She thinks it's awful what happened to Travis!

Of course the poor put upon child wants to have everyone feel so sorry for her. WOW -threats on Pat's life!! Isn't Jodi CLEVER how she turns things around 360 degrees, to wind up ALWAYS - HELPING her cause?
