As we reported yesterday, 3 of the 4 potential jurors questioned yesterday return. Source tells me 65-year-old hard of hearing man gone.

I do not recall SD's proof of this taking place. If the STATE policies in place on how juror notifications are assembled was altered or ignored by a directive from a FEDERAL agency, would not the defense file a motion to prevent such?

The head count appears a bit skewed if they actually did call potential jurors up merely by alphabetical order.

West is not the most warm and fuzzy person--although I think he is a great lawyer!--so maybe they thought that O'Mara would connect better with the potential jurors while questioning them. So maybe West is off doing trial prep stuff. And if you think about it, the longer the jury selection takes, the more time the defense has to prepare for the trial.

The idea of Crump finally having to come clean sounds great, too. :eek

This is what I was thinking. West's line of questioning was done really well, yet he came off as kind of a hard ass. Could effect minority jurors negatively based on their preconceived notions of the case.

Looks like someone told George to sit up and look at the jurors as they respond to questions and have some facial expression. He even smiled at one response by the current potential juror.

Note that I am not necessarily knocking George's previous behavior--he must be under incredible stress--but the George today looks a lot more...friendly. Never too soon to start making a good impression.
