Company put software up to NIST.

Did "fairly well" (Owen's words).

Name of document from NIST sent to the president of Speech Pro. Supposedly sent recently to someone, not sure who. Provided to Mantei on Monday.

Can't give a written transcript, but used Sound Forge to have a transcript.

Just admitted that in Sound Forge you have to type in what words you think it is, rather than the software identifying the speech.

State objected to questions about what exactly Owen heard.

Court audio sucks.

Isn't that manipulating the data?

I think I misheard his process of comparing the samples. It's tough to understand what he's saying with the courts audio through Skype, and he goes on tangents.

Does it strike anyone else that it is beyond belief that the State has evidence it may use at trial, and that it still hasn't provided it to the defense THE DAY BEFORE THE TRIAL? Unreal. And Nelson goes along with it.

State trying to claim scope of questions is outside of Frye motion on methodology.

Seems they are nervous as to what Owen would say in relation to Reich and others.

Such a shit show right now.

This is a bit farcical...... subjective evaluations of what people can hear... is hardly scientific.

That was close to what he said. How he can do that and act as if any exclusion that results from it is conclusive has me baffled.

Thank you all for the play by play. I'm away from home and not able to watch. I've only been able to get HLN audio. HLN is very pro TM, so it's aggravating to say the least. Thanks again...keep up the good work.
