2:25 p.m. ET: O'Mara has finished his questions for West. O'Mara tried to call Rionda to the stand, but the judge interrupted him. She is now telling the defense it is a better use of time to handle the discovery violation hearing post trial. She is now recessing court for 10 minutes, and when court resumes she wants to tackle the issue of whether the 911 voice analysis technology will be admissible.

I hope MOM and West are not sitting down for this! I can hardly stand it!

I think ItsMichaelNotMike has it right:

Motion to Continue (DENIED)
Motion to Reconsider (DENIED)
Writ of Phohibition and stay of trial

Nelson, who last time complained she sets aside whole days and they don't use them all up (because they run into the impenetrable wall of her unwillingness to hold the prosecution's feet to the fire, primarily) NOW complains they are using TOO MUCH TIME today. Classic.

The "instant" O'Mara said he wants to call BDLR to the stand, the judge got animated and said this is over - 10 minutes onto the Frye hearing....I'm picturing Judge Nelson nearly jumping up out of her seat.

I have a feeling there is more to come in "motions" by tomorrow!

This is OUTRAGEOUS!

This is why it's hard to sit and watch any of these proceedings! Judge and State constantly figuring out how to weasel out of doing what is LAWFUL and RIGHT!

New rules: Don't deny, just delay (and of course deny any delays the defense need)

I am incensed!

Nelson had to stop having to make Bernie get on the stand today. She's dirty. Probably a close friend of Corey. Jean Casaras just said Bernie refused to go to the stand and that is what got the judge going.

I'm a little thick. So as I type this, MOM/West should be drafting a "Writ of Prohibition?"

Anyone can be. She has to pose a credible threat to herself or others. But in 72 hours she would be back on the bench.

The judge put some product on her hair to get the frizzy, damaged parts to look more together. Grease maybe.

She just took one of the cats out of her hair. There is now more room for the other 3.
