If the skank gets life without parole, the first three years minimum is spent in maximum security. She has to earn her way to medium security. She will be housed in the same way death row inmates are housed. Her life is over either way.

Thanks for the info on the jurors. I must say that if I were one of the jurors that did not vote for death, I would be afraid to show my face! I can't really blame them for not facing the public, knowing how strong the emotions are in this case and the furor over their particular decision.

That said, it is disappointing that anyone would fall for the "abuse excuse" in this case. Especially since the only source of it is the ultimate liar, Jodi. They heard for themselves, with their own ears, the myriad contradictions. They had to realize they didn't have the other side of the story (the WHY Travis was so angry at her in ONE email out of 80,000!) when they saw Travis's writing to her.

True that they didn't know what WE knew, but it is still mind boggling that they couldn't connect the dots or extrapolate from the information they DID have and from watching Jodi in person before their very eyes! They had to be able to imagine that just as she was a consummate liar on the stand to their faces under oath, that she had to have been sneaky or dishonest in her dealings with Travis as well!

Good, I'm glad they're hiding and not making any money - just like those maroons on the Casey Anthony jury.

Her offer was generous, but I have to imagine the Alexander lawyer would be a little miffed by the offer (hopefully that offer lit a fire under his tush to cause him to move a little faster!).

I wasn't aware the Alexander family had hired their own private attorney. The attorney for them is Juan.

They are filing a civil case ... like the Goldman's did with O.J. I think.

That's a civil attorney not a criminal attorney. Different matter.

Even though Crump places himself in the criminal case for the family he has no standing. He just has a big mouth and is ending up getting deposed.

You and Joni are correct - the Alexanders have a civil attorney. I didn't think about it, but you're also right about the civil attorney not doing criminal work (but would someone in the firm do that?) (lol about Crumpcon)

You are also probably correct about Juan Martinez doing it, as it affects the State's case, too.
