The field trip is NOT meant to recreate the entire event... but rather to give jurors an idea of geography.. distances etc.
We have seen how that can be distorted in videos... such as the ones LIMPapa makes.... it really would help (IMO) to let the jury see the place where it all took place.

Nelson got the point. She doesn't want to fuark up the State's case by interfacing the jury with reality.
According to MOM, all the motions regarding TM, drugs,fights,gun, cannot be said in opening statements, but can come in if state opens the door. According to Crump, none of it can come in period.

Yes... supposedly they can come in if State "opens the door"... but the doorman is Nelson.... don't hold your breath while waiting for her to allow anything in during trial.

A door can be opened by a witness answering questions by the state. I've seen that happen a lot. Even though the state will tell a witness where they can't go, the witness will make a mistake and not even know it. One word out of place can do it.
I saw a new state attorney at the hearing. Anyone know who that is? He looks and acts calm. Unlike Bernie.

If she denies the evidence, that would be the first place for appeal. It goes to direct impeachment of a witnesses testimony.
