I wonder what the odds that Judge Nelson can ignore yet another instance of the prosecution violating the laws on evidence.

Will we see another reply from our favorite arm flapping, drunken Shakespeare quoting BDLR??? :95 :77 :WW

He is a dishonest, slimy conniving sort of lawyer... it is a TRAVESTY every time a Judge's ruling in effect goes in his favor.

He stands there and flaps and mumbles.. and should NOT be granted a win on ANY debate... even if on the odd occasion he is correct.

No, he is a civil attorney and the attorney for the family. He has no standing in the criminal case, but he just can't shut his mouth.

General twitter chatter is (as we can all predict) that this is just NORMAL teen (child) stuff.

IF that is the case and TM is typical and there are many just like him roaming the streets... then I suggest that MORE people in Florida (and elsewhere) apply now for a CWP... sounds like a gun on the hip is an essential and not a fashion extra, for just a normal drive to the store.
It almost certainly SAVED Georges life.... everybody should take heed!

Statement by the family of Trayvon Martin in response to release of pics/texts by attorneys for George Zimmerman..
May 23, 2013
by trayvonstruth

Below you will find the full statement issued by Trayvon’s family in response to the release of information by the defense with their reciprocal discovery.

“The only photos or videos that are relevant or admissible at trial are those of Trayvon taken the day he was shot and killed by George Zimmerman. There is no evidence that Trayvon neither had gold teeth nor gave anybody the finger the night he was shot and killed. Therefore those pictures are irrelevant and will not be admitted into evidence. Is the defense trying to prove Trayvon deserved to be killed by George Zimmerman because the way he looked? If so, this stereotypical and closed-minded thinking is the same mindset that caused George Zimmerman to get out of his car and pursue Trayvon, an unarmed kid who he didn’t know. The pre-trial release of these irrelevant red herrings is a desperate and pathetic attempt by the defense to pollute and sway the jury pool. The evidence that will be admitted at trial is the legally documented history of George Zimmerman’s propensity for violence, such as his arrest for battery on a law enforcement officer, his injunction to prevent domestic violence taken out by his ex-girlfriend, and evidence of his training as a bouncer for Data Whore Productions, Inc.”

Translated to - we've been caught in another lie. LOL

I can't believe Crump thought his silly story at the beginning was going to hold up, but then again I don't believe he ever wanted it to. All he wanted was to have a bunch of uninformed people click on a link to a silly petition.

There is another case in Florida using this same manipulation. It is the one where the 18 year old is being charged for having sex with her 14 year old "girlfriend". Her parents are doing the same thing by using old pictures and misinformation (outright lies).

Every time I hear someone say this, it makes me wonder what kind of people they are associating with that they think this is normal behavior for a young person.

Each drip of information just reinforces what I believed at the beginning as the real facts started to come out.

Both Mr. Zimmerman and Mr. Martin misinterpreted what the other was doing and it seems like Mr. Martin escalated it into a physical confrontation. I always wondered why Mr. Martin behaved in such an abnormal fashion that night. I first thought it was because of the neighborhood he came from, but now it does seem like he had done this in the past.

Mr. Martin had been on a downward spiral for the last 6 months of his life and his parents were either oblivious or just incapable of getting to the cause of it. It is inconceivable to me that any parent would think it was wise to turn a troubled teenager loose in a strange neighborhood without any supervision.

I still think it is sad that he died that night.

I don't dispute that a death is a sad event (almost always).. but... as things worked out it's preferable it was not George who died.

I would take exception with your supposition that:

"Both Mr. Zimmerman and Mr. Martin misinterpreted what the other was doing"

I don't see that George in anyway shape or form misinterpreted what TM was doing? TM was lurking around TRATL... GZ called it in.. he was accurate in his assessment.

+1

Where is the evidence that Zimmerman "misrepresented" what Martin was doing that night?

I recall a post from CTH yesterday... and I even managed to find it :)

Quote:
Trevor says:
May 22, 2013 at 10:30 pm

GZ should be awarded a Pulitzer prize for providing a more detailed and accurate portrait of TM after observing him for a minute, than the national media could assemble after twelve months of investigative reporting.

A lighthearted post... but "many a true word spoken in jest"

The more we find out about TM... the more it seems that George's quick assessment was accurate.

I am sad to report Ryan is clearly about to show his "true colors" if you know what I mean. I really liked the guy until I heard him teasing for his upcoming show on Zimmerman. And then that mess today with him and Crump, then him and O'Mara, sealed the deal.

I didn't get to see any of it... Does anyone have a link to it? Sorry, I don't have cable.

There is a typo / editing error / omission of words third line from the bottom for page 4 of MOM's motion for sanctions, hopefully the actually filed copy is complete,
http://www.gzdocs.com/documents/0513/mo ... ctions.pdf
but otherwise that motion and the motion for a continuance
http://www.gzdocs.com/documents/0513/05 ... ntinue.pdf
look like good motions. IMO these motions are not lawfully deniable, but of course that may not stop Nelson since she already made an unlawful order to the FBI that was exceeding her jurisdiction and not responsive to the motion of the defense.
