1:48 p.m. ET: HLN's producer in the courtroom says there appears to be some discussion going on between Arias and her team about whether she will make a statement to the jury.

Maybe her mother doesn't like her either.... wants her dead like the rest of the world?

Don't know how this works, but I wonder if due to all these co-called "violations of Ms. Arias's rights," are they just going to rely on appeal issues for later?
