I didn't know Samatha is a police officer. I had heard she was. This is heartbreaking.

The only other time I have watched family impact statements was in the (several) Christian/Newsom trials.

Equally heart wrenching here.... but in KY (The State, not the jelly)... the statements were made from witness box.. so the relative could look at Jury AND look the defendant in the eye... IMO that was better... Here Jodi was behind the witness... and not confronted full on.

I've seen that exact shirt on her in an interview. What she had on with it was the stripped jail pants. There is no excuse for her not to be in jail garb.

I was thinking these statements are hard enough for them to say...facing that slag might have been too much to bear.
