2:42 p.m. ET: Martinez said the last thing Alexander felt before he left this earth was pain.

2:38 p.m. ET: Martinez is now demonstrating how Alexander would have been alive for two minutes during the attack. He is making every one sit in silience for two minutes in the court room.

2:36 p.m. ET: Nurmi has a lot objections, but judge Stephens is overruling every one of them.

In this case there is absolutely no doubt it rises to the death penalty level. I feel for the jury.

Martinez was fabulous. I thought he said is he thinking about his dog? Is he thinking about his family?

2:54 p.m. ET: Nurmi is pointing out that Dr. Horn said if the gunshot came first Alexander would have lost consciousness within seconds and therefore did not feel the pain of the stab wounds.

2:50 p.m. ET: Nurmi is explaining to the jurors that they cannot be swayed by sympathy, passion or emotion.

2:49 p.m. ET: Martinez has completed his closing argument. Defense attorney Nurmi is now giving his closing argument.

2:47 p.m. ET: Martinez is explaining that Arias went for Alexander's throat, because it was sensitive and it would cause pain.

2:44 p.m. ET: "Yes he did suffer physical pain," said Martinez. The prosecutor is now explaining how Alexander also suffered mental anguish.

Wilmont just laughed at Juan's "hired gun" remark. Isn't that what Ashton got in trouble for in CA's case?

They are so inapproriate. I can't even believe it is Willmott who is "death penalty qualified!"

Deliberations should take at least long enough for them to sign their names.
