1:59 p.m. ET: The attorneys are at a sidebar with the judge.

1:57 p.m. ET: Dr. Horn is explaining all the wounds Alexander experienced while he was still alive and able to feel pain. Martinez is showing the jurors pictures of all of the wounds. Arias will only turn her head to write a note to her attorney Jennifer Willmott.

1:53 p.m. ET: Martinez is displaying images of Alexander's wounds to the jury. Arias is crying and looking away from the photos.

1:51 p.m. ET: Medical examiner Dr. Kevin Horn is back on the witness stand. He conducted Alexander's autopsy, and examined his body. Dr. Horn said severed nerve endings cause the someone to feel pain.

I wish the camera would pan throughout the courtroom to show something other than the skank!

2:10 p.m. ET: Defense attorney Jennifer Willmott is asking Dr. Horn how Alexander would have bleed faster, because he was stressed and moving around. Dr. Horn agreed that would have increased the rate of blood loss.

2:08 p.m. ET: Dr. Horn said he believes Alexander was still alive when his throat was slit. Martinez has finished his direct examination.

2:06 p.m. ET: The jury is being seated, and testimony should begin soon.

2:03 p.m. ET: Judge Stephens has sent the jury out of the courtroom for a couple of minutes.
