As soon as she is sentenced, I heard she is moved directly from the courtroom to prison. It is about time the judge doesn't give her special privileges like getting to wear other clothes in the courtroom besides stripes and chains.

That's probably it. The family will give their impact statements in person. Do you suppose they had to tell the defense what they were going to say? If so that's BS.

ETA Dragging the family to the courthouse today really sucks.

It's over whatever it was. They have gone.

Will Jodi go to a prison or stay in the Estrella jail? Do they have prisons there for females?
Looking for maximum security in female prisons in AZ.

I HOPE they don't let her near her "lover". Sherriff Joe might do that ... YEAAA! NO party in there for killers!

Sherrif Joe Arpaio

Great place to commit a murder Jodi. And her I.Q. is what? 112? I doubt it.
A smart person would have gone somewhere else with her victim. I have confidence
in her - she could have done that!

Joni - HAHA I thought the same thing - Jodi wasn't so smart, was she? Arizona is probably the worst place she could have committed this crime!

MBTB - Yeah, I thought that, too, the poor family having to go look at this killer's ugly mug and the inconvenience of going to the courthouse! I can only hope their insane motion was DENIED!

No, she will no longer be held in the county jail. Perryville is where they keep death row female inmates.

I would like this tune piped into her widdle woom night and day, then the AZ Jail Idol Winner could do a looped Karaoke Duo with Willie Nelson. So fitting isn't it? rofl

I would think anyone who is convicted of murder 1 and gets natural life would be in a maximum security prison. Even with a chance of parole in 25 years would be there too.
I would assume that over time the prison would decide how many privileges she would get. She will probably have to work and will be in contact with the general population. If she makes trouble, all bets are off. This is just my opinion.

When the trial first started, there was an interview with Sheriff Joe, he said if jodi was convicted to any prison time she would have to work on the chain gang with everyone else. That would make my day. She would be chained to five others, digging graves in the hot sun until the day she dropped dead, and the others would have to drag her dead body around by chains. lol!

IF that was the true sentence everywhere (hard labour)... I would prefer THAT to DP... especially since DP drags on with appeals for years.

True hard labour is preferable to DP (IMO)... DP is too easy.

That article reads a bit strange for a NZ person....

Black, 35 at the time, confessed to killing her grandmother by stuffing a kiwi down her throat during a visit the previous April.

I assume that is a "Kiwi Fruit" and NOT a flightless bird, nor a person from NZ? :)
