What are they thinking? There must be someone digging their heels in. OMG hung jury?!!!!!!!!!

Maybe they are confused over the premeditation. It is mostly all circumstantial. But she killed him three times. Do they understand premeditation can be the time between the killings?

How many years does one get for 2nd degree murder? Can it be life with the possibility of parole. I have to research this.

That is NOT enough.

She needs to be locked up until she dies

Oh no. Does IT get credit for time served? And if they get out early for good behavior...
Could she - if Second Degree only spend maybe 4 years or so - in jail? I believe she still thinks IT WAS WORTH IT.

She WILL do it again, this kind of whacko... if someone upsets IT enough. As she gets older her sex will be less desirable to men so LESS desirable by some idiots? PLUS a jailbird. OMG.

Fasten your seat-belts ...

Maybe the judge would give her 22 years. Way not enough. Time served and parole. Makes me sick to think about.

Just thinking ... though a little late.

They keep talking about which direction the SHELL would EJECT from the gun. Are there different types of guns that use 25 mm bullets? (Was that what it was?) I think my point is do all 25's eject from the same side? The gun was never found ... so how could they know?

I just cannot understand what they could be discussing??? I don't think I've ever seen such a clear cut case of (many ways of) premeditation! It's baffling to me that anyone could fall for Jodi and her defense team's BS!

Maybe.....

They are debating the "Felony Murder" part?

You could get 12 for "Premeditated"....and 12 for "Felony" as well.

Maybe 12 agree on Premeditated... but some not so sure on felony murder AS WELL!!

I did not watch early part of trial... so I have to confess I am not quite clear on what felony they are claiming (while committing murder)

It seems silly to claim the Jodi was stealing Travis's gun... since it wasn't his gun.

Nancy G. said a hung jury would be better than Murder 2 or Manslaughter. THEN, at least, another chance.

Doesn't seem good ... we listen to the "side" of the one left standing, and it is nothing but LIES to save their own necks. ALWAYS... and every trial is the same way. THEY LIE, their family lies, their lawyers lie, their friends lie... to save their murderous necks.

The victim can't tell what really happened to them so we listen to their killers "story" and some are happy to buy into it?

R Jodi "said" she used HIS gun killing him and somehow it is gone. She took it. Right. BUT THAT is HER STORY, soooooo?
She also stole his ring, engagement ring which was for another girl in the past - obviously a diamond.
Murder then - committed during a Felony?

I think Jodi always invited herself over there, near the end. I don't believe HE invited her. Always some trip planned, some DA*N excuse to come there.

BUT she didn't need an excuse - she often entered uninvited thru the doggie dog. Good grief!!! On Dr. Drew last night, Deanna said Travis called her and asked her to please go to check on Napoleon, feed him etc., because he wasn't sure if his roommates were doing a good job. She drove the HOUR TRIP to do it. She used her key, walked into the house, and saw Jodi sitting on the sofa, and smelled cookies baking. Jodi got up and went to get a plate of cookies and said to Deanna "Would you like a cookie?" Deanna said just like the perfect "Stepford Wife".

Jodi testified on the stand that Travis warned her about Deanna. Said she was violent, crazy, stay away, etc. Really! Travis left Napoleon to her, and all of his books - in his Will. He loved those things most I think. Jodi was trying to get Napoleon... can you believe that?? Everything else was left to his Grandmother.

Tonight on Dr. Drew something about Travis' last words? How could he have them? Jodi would have heard them.

Stupid jurors? You can't have 12 people who all have common sense. The odds are against it. Jean Casaras said she watched them coming back into the jury room and the men looked the same as they did in court, but two women walking alone looked pizzed. This is when they were coming back from that break.

That came from Jodi herself. She claimed it was Travis's gun. Since it came up missing she stole it. That would be a burglary. Also she remained in the house while killing Travis. She did not have permission to be in his house once she started killing him. Juan went over this in his closing argument.

Oh I know it's the BEST system we have ... but I sure wish there could be some changes made, favoring the victim. They seem to get lost - be such a small part of the circus! They seem to worry about the RIGHTS and EVERYTHING about the killers.

When this one is over ... more to come. Same old, same old. Since seeing/knowing SUCH A Tsunami of LIES can be spread over the trial/land, I am not going to follow any more cases, I don't think. Can't waste my time on their story of lies. I know the system will go after them, but I don't think I will spend my time. Too frustrating, and I am not a juror nor lawyer. TOO frustrating for me!!

Just heard on HLN Jodi stood there for 30-40 seconds, watching Travis at his computer in his office when she got there.
Um ... HOW ... did she get in? DOGGIE DOOR AGAIN?

Morning, everyone! THhs is getting ridiculous. Regarding the jury, there is NOTHING TO DEBATE! WHat is wrong with them??

Quite unexpected and masterful of Martinez to use Jodi's LIES against her!

I was wondering that myself. Travis didn't let her in. He didn't know she was there. I don't believe she had a key like Deanna did. Was the front door unlocked?
Maybe it was the doggie door. His dog was was with him. Didn't he bark? We never heard about that did we?

I thought he was sleeping in his bed when she was watching him.

I wish he would have installed an alarm system. First thing I did when I moved into my house. I can't sleep without it on.

Yes, I was impressed with that. I wonder what Juan is thinking now.

This is BEYOND unbelievable!! How dare they??? I am FUMING! :95

If they are already anticipating her guilt (it was, after all, a no-brainer as she admitted she killed him), why would they need to know what the FAMILY, the ones she has victimized to no end at this point, will say about her??? Horrible!

What, afraid her reputation might be ruined?? :roll

She doesn't think she needs to hear their anguish or scorn?

That she doesn't feel she should be accountable to Travis's family since he is no longer here?

I wish this was over!
