I'm so bored with this closing argument. It is all blah blah blah to me. I can keep up somewhat by reading here so I do appreciate that too. I guess I am now just wondering who is all in the galley because I am not understanding the closing argument at all. Just waiting for Juan now. I gotta give props to you too with keeping up.

The three of you are doing a good job.

Personally, I like Willmott's dark purple suit with the loose, long ruffles going down!

Don't know who either of those men are, but I'm assuming they are with the family. The younger one was with that woman on his right yesterday. She kept shooting murderous glances at Jodi throughout Martinez' closing, especially when he would post the autopsy pictures!

(Yes, I'm wanting to pull my hair out over my computer issues today but then I remember what Jennifer Willmott's bald spot looks like :lol )

2:01 p.m. ET: Nurmi has coined a new term: "pre-planned murder." He keeps pointing on facts that he believes don't make sense if Arias was executing a "pre-planned murder."

1:59 p.m. ET: Nurmi is asking the jury why would Arias stab someone first when she had a gun, because he was a big guy in good shape for his trip to Cancun.

“Apart from the logistics of that not making any sense…why don’t you shoot? You’ve got a gun. This is what you’ve done. You’ve stolen this gun, you’ve gotten to this point in time, why don’t you shoot? It doesn’t make any sense. Under this theory of premeditation, none of this makes any sense whatsoever," said Nurmi

1:55 p.m. ET: Nurmi is referencing the photo of Alexander in the shower with his back to her again, and how it doesn't make sense that she didn't attack him when his back was to her.

1:52 p.m. ET: The jury is being seated.

1:51 p.m. ET: The attorneys have emerged from the judge's chambers. Nurmi may resume is closing argument shortly.

1:50 p.m. ET: From HLN producers in the courtroom: The attorneys are in the Judge's chambers with Jodi Arias along with two of Alexander's sisters.

WHY would Jodi begin with stabbing? Because Travis was defenseless, vulnerable, NAKED, in a cramped, WET space (and probably under threat of the gun to sit down). :doh

I think she wanted to make him suffer as much as possible and she figured the gun would be to fast.

2:09 p.m. ET: Nurmi smacked his hands and said Arias would have sex with Alexander, because it was better than his hits.

2:07 p.m. ET:

“This story of self-defense, that’s a great big lie, right? That’s what they say. But if it’s a great big lie…you might do something else way smarter than what Jodi did, after this took place. She’s planned this out remember?...And you’re saying this smart girl doesn’t think about what she’s going to do afterwards?...And why if it’s this pre-planned murder do you create this crime scene of chaos? We had a relationship of chaos, and a crime scene of chaos," said Nurmi.

2:04 p.m. ET: Nurmi is walking the jurors through how the jury instructions must consider whether Arias was a domestic violence victim in deciding whether she acted in self-defense. He is now talking about all the times Alexander allegedly sexually and physically abused Arias.

HAHAHA, Rumpole - Good thought bubble!! :lol

About the stabbing - a psychologist once explained that this type of close-up, hands-on murder is because the person wants to FEEL the death and wants to be PART of the death of the person. Makes sense. Sicko!
