9:29 p.m. ET: Geffner agreed with Martinez that one explaination for why Alexander did not bleed out of the gunshot wound to his head may have been due to the fact that he was already dead. The attorneys are at a sidebar with the judge.

Counsel is headed back into chambers. Dr. G has left the building. #JodiArias sits at her desk not crafting.

Counsel is at the bench. Jurors not back yet. Media section has cleared out pretty much except the die hards.

I don't see the seal!!!

Juan shows him photos of the base of Travis' skull.

Juan puts the photo up on the screens. This shows a cross section of Travis' head where the entry wound is.

Almost ALL the spectators have their heads down, not looking at the photos. :(

Wild About Trial 2 WildaboutTrial2 1m
Dr. Horn draws the path of the bullet through the skull and into the face/cheek area.

These photos are quite gruesome. Travis' sisters have their heads down

10:07 p.m. ET: Arias is not looking at the pictures of Alexander's skull, but she isn't crying like she has the other times they have been displayed for the jury.

10:05 p.m. ET: Willmott is asking Dr. Horn about the state of Alexander's brain when he examined it. Dr. Horn said Alexander's brain was like tapioca pudding because of decomposition.

10:01 p.m. ET: Dr. Horn said you can draw a straight line where the bullet would have passed through Alexander's right front lobe, and other the shock waves of the bullet would have injured other parts of his brain. He said Alexander would have fallen to the ground after the gunshot and would have been incapacitated within a second. Martinez has concluded his questions for Martinez.

10:00 p.m. ET: Alexander's friends and family are looking down at their laps instead of viewing the pictures of Alexander's skull.

WHY would he need to read articles for research when he sees this stuff EVERY DAY?!?!

Again, Horn does and Geffner teaches.
