How about the intelligent juror question (and DeMarte's answer) about whether there was a difference relating to PTSD and if the results for PTSD would be the same, if the story was about a bear, then switched to a tiger? I thought it quite an insightful question and shows just how full of it Jodi's PTSD defense is!


Interesting that DeMarte had 19 questions and if I recall correctly, Samuels had 154 and good 'ole Alyce had 221.

You're right, Joni- I watched the repeat of Nancy Grace and there was NO SCREAMING and not even any untoward tone in her voice. What is that drama queen Nancy thinking?? Ugh. No wonder people dislike her so much.

Apparently, Jayne Weintraub on one of the shows last night - Jaynie Weintraub, the biggest, screaming, dyed-in-the-wool defense apologist of all time was criticizing the witch Prosecutor Willmott! Basically, she said that Willmott made a huge mistake trying to nitpick with this witness which instead, got lots of new (bad) information introduced about Jodi and a lot of information repeated that the jury didn't need to hear. That Willmott should have kept it short and concentrated on 2 things ONLY - DeMarte's "experience" and how the two diagnoses of PTSD and BPD overlap - and that's IT.

Forgot to add - according to the show last night, DeMarte was an excellent volleyball player (they showed a picture of her diving for the ball).

Lots of action by Jodi yesterday. She even mouthed to Willmott something like, "that's not right" about one of DeMarte's explanations (I'm trying to remember what it was, specifically).

The part that got me was when on one of the breaks, Willmott, standing up close to Jodi, actually SMOOTHED Jodi's hair down right above her breast/chest!! I thought I was seeing things and went back and replayed and sure enough - GAG!

I didn't realize that all of Jodi's drawings were copied from something else. I thought at least the horse picture was on her own. For being self-taught, she really is gifted. It makes it such a shame that she threw away what could have been a productive life. Considering that she is a high school drop out, she has an excellent vocabulary (even though she would get some "big" words wrong), is quite articulate, bright and creative. Despite any personality disorder (the majority don't commit crimes or kill), too bad she didn't/couldn't use her "powers" for good instead of evil.

I really believe she is a dangerous person.

I thought it interesting to learn Jodi stole Travis's ring. Beth Karas said she heard it was an engagement ring he had bought for another woman, but never gave it to her. She also said there is a lot about Jodi we don't know because it was not allowed in the trial.

Also Jodi broke into Travis's home and hid behind a Christmas tree to watch him.

Why no trial on Monday? We'll never get through with this trial!

Last night on HLN After Dark the defense lied, as usual. Lawyer said "This is the first time Jodi ever had an encounter with the law!" LIE!!! The pot growing incident in the Tupperware on her parent's roof! Later Vinnie mentioned the Pot incident near the end of the program ... and the defense back-peddled!

Confuse, re-direct, smoke screens, throw EVERYTHING YOU CAN THINK OF UP AGAINST THE WALL to SEE IF ANYTHING WILL STICK!!! ANYTHING - EVERYTHING to distract the jury from one of the most cruel, horrible, heinous torturous murders ever done - I think. The bloody, cruel KILLING of Travis Alexander. Imagine his mental torment during this painful slashing! Some are now saying it took over 2 minutes...

I think as in her personality disorder... they can go from intense LOVE to intense HATE and I think she is still there, although she tries to cover it.

The sleeping under the Christmas tree was a different incident IIRC. She showed up at Travis's house and he had guests. That was the only place left to sleep. Travis knew she was there. When she hid behind the tree, he didn't know. This was new information along with the ring.

FYI : That was me talking about the ring and the hiding behind the tree. Beth didn't know about diamonds. This was new information. It could have been a gold man's ring. A picture was shown of Travis wearing that ring.

Here is a 3/4 "copy" of Frank Sinatra on an album cover I think. I don't think it looks like him. I see she is trying to do other 3/4 views, but who can say they DON'T LOOK LIKE an imaginary person? Anyone can draw a face, a tree, a flower and who is to say it DOESN'T LOOK LIKE THEM/IT? When tested (like Frank S.'s 3/4 one) she can't do it.

I wish things would have been different with Travis. I had a stalker, many in Show Biz do.
Anyhow, when I called to report damages, or green broken glass scattered in my grass, or clear glass scattered in my white stone driveway, etc. etc. etc. the Police always asked "Did you see him do it?" I always had to say "No." I was either asleep or at work nights - as musicians do. And too, he was working on one brick - making it very concave, etc. I saw a pile of red brick dust on the ground. That is what alerted me to that one brick. It was more than half way thru. Hammer and awl I think.

After much much frustration and much damage to my house and brand new car, I called the Police station
and asked who was in charge. They gave me this GREAT CAPTAIN! He was wonderful, and we kept in touch.
He told me to call/REPORT every single incident. I guess I was making a "record" - a circumstantial "record
much as the building blocks of a circumstantial murder case ... leading only to that one person?

Anyhow ... after years of this, somehow we GOT HIM!! I think it was tremendously loud music playing, WHILE TOO, his mother had 19 cats in their rented house, and 2 dogs!!!! Poor little things. Their house was about 60' from mine. He did this every day and I did nothing. I guess he got angry and REALLY BLASTED it one day. THAT DAY, I called.

Good lesson here. Never give up, report it@@ Build a file/record. It would have been even harder for a man to do this, I guess, but lunatics are everywhere and we know for sure THEY ARE HIGHLY DANGEROUS!

After that hearing... I moved out west and married. I heard he went to prison after that. Had a rap sheet from age 6. longer than your LEG!!

That wouldn't surprise me - that she used 2 on Travis.

I think the Car Rental place found a gun, a 9mm, so well hidden that the police didn't even see it. The Rental place only found it while cleaning out their car. That is the car that the agent thought had "cool aid" spilled on it too?
