MM :lol :lol

Jodi shot Travis with a 25 caliber gun. We all know this. That IS a small caliber bullet.

When I was a musician and ALWAYS out on the road in the wee hours, I decided I needed a gun. There was a girl killed right around my job, daughter of a Cop! Aimee Willard.

I contacted NRA and said I wanted a small gun. Told them my situation and why, and they said "A small gun, a 22, 25, won't BRING DOWN a man!! You need something bigger!" A big concern was maybe having a disabled car, and someone breaking into my car.

THAT must be why Jodi didn't shoot Travis first. Surely a stab wound to the heart - would be MORE disabling than a 25 caliber shell, so that was her choice of order. Knowing her, this was planned in detail for months. Either plan "A" - or if that didn't work, plan "B"... the slaughter!

I'll go with the M.E. also! HE would know, and has no dog in the fight!

MM you are right! A panic type thing ... talking fast and panicky! :95

Maybe that's why she must hate the Dr. She's NOT able to bring her down and make her
look inept, and a liar.

Arrogant little snippy thing, isn't she? :59

Rump ... They told me to get a Ruger - 357 Magnum. Named her Rhoda Ruger, as in Roto Rooter. A big heavy one. Felt SAFE with her beside me on the passenger seat! Use 357 Hollow Points. Had to buy a few new purses to accommodate it. Needed a heavy "strap".

HEY ... It got all the way to N.Z. ?? Had no idea! AND no surgery either!

shhhh Truly, in my day made a few accidents. I would point and say LOOK!!! LOOK!!
They were busy looking at me. Some were able to hit their brake in time. Not all. I didn't want
to cause accidents. :69

Will the msm report this? Will Willmot be disciplined?

OMG! Could this cause a mistrial???? :doh

Isn't this the BEST?! I agree with Rumpole with the no mistrial, but definitely disciplined! Willmott deserves it, trying to one-up this witness to no avail - especially when she so snarkily said today to DeMarte: "No, I'M not the one who's confused..." when Willmott clearly WAS the one who was confused about all the psychological-speak. Then there was Nurmi, actually laughing in his chair in the background.

(good memory about Ashton, Rumpole!)

Now that Nancy Grace has aired it, there's no turning back!

I've noticed how she talks faster when her line of questioning is not going well. :Q7

Yes, Willmott is beyond frustrated that she can't shake DeMarte with her insults, her jabs, her mocking and insinuating that DeMarte is less than competent.

I don't understand how Willmott or anyone who is close to her (husband? mother? siblings?) doesn't see how petty and unprofessional she is appearing in trying to demean this very well spoken, intelligent witness.

I hope Jack In The Box will be heavily FINED! I am sure the Bar down there will
hear about this too. Totally UNCALLED FOR!!

THAT just goes to show, (which I learned from observing my first husband), a law degree doesn't mean a classy man (or woman) lies underneath. With some, the scum goes right down to the bone and can't be extricated!

Class will always tell eh?

Yes, the best!!! I've been so busy today I hardly had time to read but I will watch NG (Is the re-run still on at 1AM?) cause I just have to see this. :91

Between this and the marijuana I would say Wilmott's judgment is as bad as Jodi's.

Thank you for your great updates. :hug

You're so welcome and LOL - I'm going to watch Nancy Grace, too!

Somehow, I don't think Martinez would "stoop" to the defense's level, but this is a serious, uncalled for insult to Dr. DeMarte that must be acknowledged in some fashion.

Thank you. I watched. Sure sounded like Willmot said "Bitch" but like NG said - let's see what the judge says.

Wilmott is "an officer of the court"

The judge may well ask her.... but will have to take her word as to whether she said "bitch"

Willmott vs. DeMarte: Who's winning?
By Dan Schenek
updated 12:28 AM EDT, Thu April 18, 2013

Janeen DeMarte, the State’s rebuttal witness in the Jodi Arias trial, resumed her testimony Wednesday clashing with defense attorney Jennifer Willmott during cross-examination.

Willmott pressed the expert to agree that Arias met the criteria for PTSD in one of the tests DeMarte administered on the 32-year-old accused murderer. Willmott also suggested that some of Arias’ test scores weren’t necessarily consistent with DeMarte’s diagnosis of borderline personality disorder. DeMarte had been licensed as a clinical psychologist for one year when she evaluated Arias in 2011 -- Willmott made sure to bring that to light as well.

On Wednesday night, HLN’s Dr. Drew and his special guests commented on the day’s testimony.

“I think that the defense seemed to be growing more and more desperate,” said clinical psychologist Cheryl Arutt, Psy.D. “I think that this was exactly the kind of forensic expert that we like to see -- concise, direct, clarifying [testimony] when she could.”

Attorney Marcia Clark added, “I think the defense is losing the jury here … make your point. Don't talk about scales and numbers …you won't score a home run on this witness. She's an excellent, strong expert witness."

However, attorney Mark Eiglarsh noted, “Jurors are instructed to keep an open mind. They can't form definitive conclusions. The few who haven't formed fixed conclusions can, if they want to, look negatively on this witness for having less experience than the other defense witnesses. That's all. That doesn't mean that's how I feel.”

Arias claims she had to kill Travis Alexander, her ex-boyfriend, in self-defense in June of 2008 at his Mesa, Arizona home -- even though she had initially given authorities different stories about the circumstances surrounding his death. She faces the death penalty if convicted of first-degree murder.

The defense team continues their cross examination of DeMarte on Thursday.

I was a bit disappointed that Nancy didn't jump on the "bitch" word" like everyone else. Hmmm. I was looking forward to the fireworks because I really want Willmott to pay for that one! Wonder what other word Willmott could say that she was saying? :roll

Just a little about Jodi's "art" ~~

Try this yourself. Try copying some picture, photo, or anything from a magazine.
After you have finished, turn the item you are "copying" UPSIDE DOWN and do it again.

THIS TIME it should be better! Your brain then won't be interfering, saying "Oh ... a pair of glasses, ok I'll draw the shape I know... a circle, etc." YOU will ONLY be drawing lines, arcs, shapes that you see -- *WITHOUT* your BRAIN interfering. I notice she DOES erase. Maybe she does it that way ... upside down "sample" pictures, then makes corrections when she checks it, right side up. I did see her erase a lot, then wisk away the residue of the erasing. She is drawing with her left hand. She sure comes in loaded for bear - with ALL those folders! $$$$$$$$

I think this is discussed in the book "Drawing With The Right Side Of The Brain".

BUSTED wannabe Jodi! Now the state of AZ supports her so she doesn't have to work, and has all day to sit and "draw" -- and earn money.
