It stuns me that Jodi and Dr. DeMarte are almost the same exact age (by a month!).

119 = "Pretty High IQ," Willmott??

Willmott's questioning is actually giving me some laughs, especially when DeMArte says, "that's incorrect." Willmott trying to paint DeMarte as inexperienced, not understanding Samuels's tests, not understanding about PTSD, not working with trauma victims.........oooh and the BIG one - she SHOWED Mr. Martinez the copyrighted test questions!! :roll

WildAboutTrial WildAboutTrial 1m

I don't see any note taking going on now, not even the Notetaker has his pen to the paper.

Willmott is back to the PDS test that Dr. Samuels gave. Dr. D has never given the PDS test before.

Willmott is pointing out that Dr. D shared the questions from the test with Juan even though they were copyrighted.

Willmott is going over the copyright policy that is on these psychological tests now. She has a new angle it seems.

Today Jodi is DRAWING again. She continues giving IT to Travis!! Making money from him, and
his murder now, not that she didn't do ENOUGH to him!!! OH SHE HATES HIM! Maybe she will do
some "copies" of his face, especially the last living one? How like her.

I see her drawing... changing pencils ... erasing ... and wiping away the residue from the eraser.
Like cleaning off her table!

Beth K. said she is taking notes. I don't think so...

1:58 p.m. ET: DeMarte is explaining how the MCMI has questions built into it to make sure the test taker is not lying.

Juan objects for the second time today, violation of rule 15. We are sizzling away in sizzlebar. Judge calls for 10 min recess.

Amazing isn't it ... how one as smart as Einstein sits in the Defendant's chair, and the other one sits in the witness chair as an expert witness who holds her doctorate?

Two peas in a pod ...

Now WHY WOULD Jodi ever feel inferior about ANYTHING about herself?
Just like Casey Anthony... they buy all that "pillow talk" the guys feed them (no ulterior motive there) :Gslap telling them how WONDERFUL they are! BUT afterward ... they DO plummet back down to earth and REALITY!
Culture shock! :D

I wonder if the jury has put any questions in the basket for this expert? Usually we hear.

2:42 p.m. ET: The TSI examine tests for symptoms of trauma. The website for U.S Department of Veteran's Service's describes the TSI like this:

The TSI is a global measure of trauma sequelae; items are not keyed to a specific traumatic event. It is a 100-item self-report measure of posttraumatic stress and other psychological sequelae of traumatic events. Respondents are asked to rate how often each symptom has happened to them in the past 6 months. Items are rated on a 4-point frequency scale ranging from 0 ("never") to 3 ("often").

The TSI has 10 clinical scales that assess a variety of symptom domains related to trauma: Anxious Arousal, Depression, Anger/Irritability, Intrusive Experiences, Defensive Avoidance, Dissociation, Sexual Concerns, Dysfunctional Sexual Behavior, Impaired Self-reference, and Tension Reduction Behavior. The TSI also includes 3 validity scales that may be useful in identifying response tendencies that would invalidate the test results. These scales assess Atypical Responses, Response Level (very low reporting), and InconsistentResponses.

The TSI contains items that correspond to DSM-IV symptom criteria (B, C, and D) for PTSD, but does not specifically assess these criteria. Raw scale scores are converted to T scores for the 10 clinical scales and the 3 validity scales based on a normative sample (with separate norms based on gender and age). A computer scoring program is available from the test publisher. The TSI is recommended for measuring a variety of trauma-related symptoms in clinical or research settings.

2:37 p.m. ET: DeMarte said Arias tested high a scale for "self concept" that includes traits like esteem and identity issues.
