She is a PROPER psychologist... I would not expect her to be throwing around pop-psychobabble terms like "Narcisist" and "sociopath"

Those terms are the stuff of self appointed experts posting on forums :lol

Actually Narcissistic Personality Disorder is a recognized DSM IV personality disorder and I am in the midst of conducting a Disqus based therapy session with someone right now who is crying out in his hateful posts for someone to help him with his NPD issues.

Did DeMarte mention anything about narcissism in her diagnosis of Jodi?

If she doesn't have a diagnosis of NPD she certainly has narcissistic traits.

There is a high probability of co-morbidity. Usually there are cross over traits and conditions in the personality disorders.

I am not a licensed therapist, but I did sleep with one last night :slap

Seriously though. My wife is an LCSW at the masters level and is going for her doctorate in educational psychology. I have also taken many psychology courses. My wife works at a university and deals with students with disabilities. Many of her students have co-morbid conditions. So one that has ADHD may also have OCD. Bi-polar and OCD often go together. Autism Spectrum Disorder often has OCD and ADHD components.

#JodiArias is paying attention so far. I don't see her drawing or writing anything at the moment.

Willmott touches on Dr. D's CV again now. She went into detail yesterday and was picking apart her past work experience.

Willmott continues with her cross. She is talking to Dr. D about sexual deviants.

Ridiculous line of questioning. Willmott is NOT going to get any kind of AHA moment from this professional witness!

Dr. D charges $125/hr for therapy. Seems rather reasonable to me.

Willmott claims that the magazine Psychology today is an advertisement for Dr. D's personal site. Dr. D has not payed for this

I see a juror question in the bin, the first one since Dr. D hit the stand.

Willmott asks if Dr. D has her billing records because Dr. D can't put a number on how many hours she spent reviewing materials.

Dr. DeMarte continues to answer Willmott's questions in a calm and clear manner.

Dr. D asks Willmott to review her notes as Willmott claims Dr. D had only 4 criminal cases going and Dr. D claims 6. Sizzlebar.

Willmott walks back to her desk and grabs a legal pad. She is making it look like she has something up her sleeve.

1:17 p.m. ET: Willmott is grilling DeMarte about an add for her practice that says she has 8 years of practicing as a pyschologist, but DeMarte has only had her license for three years. DeMarte said Willmott is incorrect she has been practicing since 2004 with supervision.

1:14 p.m. ET: Willmott asked DeMarte how long she spent interviewing Arias. DeMarte said in total it was 12 to 12 and half hours. Now Willmott is asking her how long she spent reviewing materials in Arias' case. DeMarte said she is unsure, and she would have to check her billing records to know how many hours she spent reveiwing materials.

1:11 p.m. ET: The attorneys are at a sidebar with the judge.

1:08 p.m. ET: Willmott is asking DeMarte about rates for forensic work. DeMarte said she has 6 open forensic cases right now including one for a defense attorney. She charges $300 an hour for testimony, and $250 hour for non-testimony work on forensic cases.

1:05 p.m. ET: DeMarte said she charges $125.00 an hour for therapy, and she accepts insurance. For some of her clients that come through insurance, she has to accept a lower rate, because of the contract with the insurance companies.

1:02 p.m. ET: Willmott is asking about DeMarte's ad for her practice in Psychology today. DeMarte said she did not have to pay for the ad.

1:00 p.m. ET: DeMarte is explaining why she started her own practice, and how she started Arias' evaluation a year after she got her license.

12:58 p.m. ET: Willmott is asking DeMarte about the effect of domestic violence on children and how it allegedly effects boys and girls differently.

12:55 p.m. ET: DeMarte said she has worked with various types of sexual offenders. Now Willmott is asking her about lectures she has given throughout her career.

12:53 p.m. ET: Defense attorney Jennifer Willmott is asking DeMarte about her work experience with sex offenders.

12:52 p.m. ET: DeMarte is taking the witness stand, and the jury is being seated.

12:49 p.m. ET: Our producer in the courtroom says the attorneys are meeting with Judge Sherry Stephens in her chambers.

So far I don't see any "bombshell" from Willmott's questions. More like "watergun stream"

A few jurors are seen taking notes. Most sit attentively and watch the interaction between Willmott and Dr. D

Willmott is picking apart Dr. D's advertisement in Psychology Today. Doesn't seem to be getting anywhere though.
