I've been wondering about this - what is it they are sliding across when they are speaking with the judge?? Is it a conversation thingy that indicates when someone "has the floor" to speak?? Weird!!

7:11 p.m. ET: LaViolette says she would never let her feelings about a defendant cloud her judgment.

7:09 p.m. ET: LaViolette says she never felt the need to withdraw from this case. She says she apologized to Arias for invading her personal space by reading her journals. She thought this would create trust between them.

7:26 p.m. ET: LaViolette says Alexander doesn't sound uncomfortable or humiliated on the sex phone tape. She says Arias was uncomfortable with their first sexual encounter. She thought it was "too much, too soon" but she went along with it anyway, according to LaViolette.
