Have they got drinks and sandwiches in there?

Hi, all!

Hope we get to actually see some of the trial today.

What does it mean that they came out and got the TA family???

Speaking about blondes ...

Jodi would no doubt have to do a 2 step process on her hair to become blonde - having such dark hair.
Bleach it all out, then dye it the shade of blonde she wanted. It often gets brassy orange on the way "up".
Hair grows about 1/2" a month. I never saw in any photos, dark roots along her part.
And too, I notice she bleached her eyebrows when she wore her hair bleached blonde.
That is like the stripping off of the outer layer of the hair - like taking the BARK off a tree.
Wow ... what high maintenance she really is! I suspected so - - but now after thinking, we know!

Have you noticed she only puts on her light lipstick, on the innermost 2/3 of her huge mouth?
She ignores the outer 3/4" on both sides of her lying mouth, trying to make that huge cavern appear smaller!

Shame to be so homely when SOOOO INTO APPEARANCE! Constant struggle for her, I guess.
Very time consuming. No wonder she always wants her purse/makeup. She must do other subtle things too.

BTW - where are her glasses everywhere else? A PROP only for court?

HLN is discussing Juror #5.

Here's the link, Rumpole:

Hi Puzzler - the wait is frustrating. I can't imagine it's anything good that they've taken in the family. WildaboutTrial also says he does NOT see Dr. LaViolette in the courtroom and she was supposed to be up.

Hi, Joni! You sure have better eyesight than I do! I can't see ANY lipstick on her, ever!

I noticed in her Police Interrogation videos that her hair was orangey - you're right, she would have had to bleach the heck out of it because it is originally super dark and then color. When she returned to her natural color, the bleach underneath the color is giving off the brassy/orange tones.

It just seems "odd" that the judge has called TA's family members to the chambers.

It wouldn't be anything to do with whether or not to release a juror, nor anything to do with any kind of plea deal.

Only thing coming to mind right now is maybe when the jurors were questioned about Juror #5, one or more jurors might have said something about the family members????

Hope we eventually find out what it's all about.

The family has been back there for over 30 minutes now. Doesn't sound good to me, but I hope I'm wrong. I read that it was the family who asked to be there for the discussion. They are very strong.

Well, it's truly odd (to me), considering that Jodi is back there in the chambers, too.

Someone has mentioned that apparently, Arizona's Victim's Bill of Rights allows the victims to be included in closed hearings.

Can you imagine them facing her?? Or is Juan speaking to them in a different room?

Dallas Brown kdbdallas 13m
to chriswnews - So his family gets to go into the judges chambers for stuff like this?

Chris Williams chriswnews 9m
to kdbdallas - yes. They gave "victim's rights" allowing it (that's how they explained it to me last week)

Wait!!!

Could they be looking for some sort of finalization - therefore family members (victims) are allowed in the closed hearing?

Could they be comtemplating a plea deal?

I would imagine they would all be in different rooms but your guess is as good as mine as to what's up. #JodiArias

To clarify, yes Jodi Arias and Travis' family went back behind the door. I have been told there is just a hallway there.

Yes Mike B. the court reporter is in there as well.

Good thought. I now really don't think she would get the Death Penalty from the jurors. She has made too much of a connection with them.

I think they were talking about the family being able to be present for closed door hearings like this. Arizona allows it.

On HLN, they're saying that a judge makes no decision in a plea deal...but in AZ, before a plea deal is finalized, it has to be presented to the victims (although the attorneys don't have to go by what the victims may say).
