Does anybody know if the book Dr. Samuals gave Jodi helped her formulate her case/testimony in any way?

Jodi is losing weight. Casey lost weight. Deliberate?

How come Zimmerman is GAINING weight when most others seem to lose? Has an "in" because of his father's former position - Judge? Strange isn't it?

Popular pocket self-help psychology book from 70's I read it back then.... I can not remember the detail.

I am sure it had some helpful thoughts. Reading books like that does mean you are thinking about things psychological. There was no specific instructions about tests, but it would not have hurt to be alert to psychological motives etc.

Puzzler - thanks for posting those videos! It has some excellent map work (loving the highlighted lights for the cities and stops) and it clearly explains Juan Martinez' emphasizing the need for that 3rd gas can. This is what I expected for the prosecution to show the jury. It really demonstrates how absurd Jodi's story to Det. Flores was - I can still see her and Det. Flores going over the map and why Det. Flores was telling her how her story didn't add up.

That was a HUGE distance that Jodi drove (2,800 miles ).

Joni - remember that both Jodi and Casey were incarcerated for a while before and during trial. Jail food is not appetizing (even though Xasey did gain a lot of weight at one point due to her fattening, high sodium commissary purchases). Zimmerman is home and eating to his heart's content.

GADS all this - and all Jodi had to do was write! She could probably have made good living writing books, scripts, screen plays, etc. Creative and WAAAAAAAY out there!
She wouldn't be where she is now. She might have her choice of other men if young and successful.

She missed her calling. Maybe a Call Girl, Stripper, Hooker? But poor whacko Jodi thinks she can beat the system. Outsmart everyone, like she did always did her "stall" of males, and Mommy and Daddy. Sounds Just like Casey.

Info re the latest defense motion from an Arizona lawyer, FWIW

Without seeing the document, all I can tell is:

1) The defense team is complaining that JM is trying to get in evidence/argument of some aggravating circumstance that isn't "on the table." The only one "on the table" is cruelty. (The factor is actually "heinous, cruel or depraved," but a prior judge already ruled there was no probable cause for heinousness or depravity.) I have no idea which one the defense thinks JM is trying to bring in.

2) Apparently the defense team thinks that a juror has committed misconduct. Who knows why. Perhaps they have some evidence that the jury has been deliberating early, or that they are watching media reports, or that they are commenting on the case on Facebook...there are lots of possibilities.

I did a little searching. IS this STILL about Juan M. and his popularity? Some jurors "possibly" seeing it?
