Random thought:

If Nelson fails to censure BDLR for the egregious, prima facie rules and ethics violations in his drunken screed, would that then be grounds for a writ to the DCA, on the basis that Nelson is clearly biased against the defendant, due to her inappropriate deference to the prosecution?

He quoted Shakespeare, so Nelson will give him a pass. At this point I have been so wrong on so many things, that I would say the safest bet is not to even take a guess.

Links to pleadings filed prior to Crump's 2/20/13 response are dead.

Something afoot?

:Gslap :Gslap :Gslap Mike McDaniel's article imitating BDRL saying that O'Mara was a poopy face and didn't know Shakespeare while Bernie did. Tennis calling Bernie's mean, spiteful answer a 2AM drunk rant is good too.

They went down yesterday, I was using them as a reference for a post I was writing for my blog, then all the links for the old pleadings just went offline.

I imagine at trial......

MOM, in drag (with pinkie ring) reciting Portia's "Quality of Mercy" speech....

The Quality of Mercy

It could be done in the span of a single Judge Judy item... at a pinch.. taking up both segments of the show.

It might take 4 months though if somebody plays the "anal sex" card?

It would depend on how much BS the prosecutors are willing to sling to see what sticks. We will get a good idea once the lists of experts are released.

Next thing you know, all traces that the case ever existed will be erased. All the players will disappear into the witness protection program. The internet will be scrubbed clean.

They may have just reorganized and didn't change the old links. Older links have 'main' in the url. If you remove that they work.

http://www.flcourts18.org/main/PDF/Pres ... 202013.pdf

to

http://www.flcourts18.org/PDF/Press_Rel ... 202013.pdf

I like the conspiracy theory better though.

Maybe Bernie has done a draft of his Opening Statement laying out the case against GZ... and it only runs 3 mins so he will throw in the towel?

Not likely I know.. he can always pad it out to an hour with arm-flapping performance from Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing" :slap

Bernie will surely out-Baez Baez when it comes to fictional, fantastical opening statements. :fish

Bernie's defense:

Your honor, I stonewalled discovery for months. Nothing serious happened. Yeah, I did finally cough up the color digital bloody nose photo, but the court permitted me to continue stonewalling disclosure of W8's address. Now the defense has changed up and is insisting on enforcing the rules. Your honor, I have a crappy case. As you have probably noticed, W8 is a disaster. As a former prosecutor, I know you understand. Convicting a guilty man is easy, but convicting an innocent man can be extremely difficult. I need your help, judge.

No doubt.... but he'll need to have some sort of Bizarre sex element to make it work...

Like Jodi Arias, or like GA and the before school shenanigans with KC.
