I am so furious with the VICIOUS KILLER/LIAR/PHONY ... and not easy here today.

It gives me the chills thinking of that knife going in and out and the kind of resistance it would have going both ways. It took some time, nowhere near a clinical count to 29.

Thanks for the heads up for Monday's reenactment. Can't wait to see the amount of time they come up with for the slaughter.

I haven't really been following this case that much but was there any hesitation type stab wounds.

Good question, I don't know that officially it has been stated by the ME. I came in late to the case, too. I'm just imagining, like when I have to make fork punctures into baked potatoes before cooking or into a Turkey (long time ago before my husband who actually knows how to cook took over ) - there was "resistance" and it just can't be as easy as a smooth count to 29.

You're right, Joni, the only word for her behavior on that video up thread is "WHACKED!" Singing, giggling, rummaging through the waste basket, headstand. The last photo taken when Travis was alive: In some versions of that photo it DID look like some "hesitation cuts" around both sides of his neck. Light tormenting cuts...
Looked like some blood collected at the base of his neck from the one on HIS right? LOOK at the look on his face! Not normal for Travis. He was always laid back looking, peaceful... LOOKS SCARED THERE. VERY DIFFERENT.

Did you have this in mind?

Again I really haven't followed this case that much but from what I heard there is no way this is self defense. But something about him bothers me to. Like his comment about 12 year old girls. I personally think he had issues to but he didn't deserve to die.

According to a tweeter CamilleKimball, who was in the courtroom, she said the judge announced the delay was due to a sudden death in the family of defense attorney Miss Wilmott.

More updates:

1) Judge says she has 30 questions from jurors for Dr. Samuels. They will get to those questions next week.

2) Nurmi says that after Dr. Samuels, one more defense witness: LaViolette

3) Thursday next week to be "dark" - because last witness not available.

4) Judge said hearing will begin on Monday at 10:15am, Jury to arrive at 11:00am

5) "Instrumental murder vs. expressive murder" to be subject of hearing on Monday.

I'm new to this process of jury questions, too, Joni. As with everything, there are pros and cons, imo.

Just the thought of listening to that guy all next week as there will be no court Thursday and Friday, the juror questions - and I wonder if it will be Nurmi ( ) questioning him, now that the death in the family of Miss Wilmott has ocurred?

I'm sure you've heard the expression, "She just brings out the best in him." That is a truth that we all experience sometimes. Either we are with someone who brings out the best in us, or the worst.

In Travis' case, there is no doubt in my mind that it was Jodi who was the sexually weird one, and I think she taught Travis a lot of new morbid things. I am convinced that Jodi brought out the worst in Travis.

Can you see Travis saying those awful things to his church friends or even any other friend but Jodi? No...I think given more time without Jodi in his life, Travis would have settled in on his own good set of principles to live by. But Jodi was a constant temptation. He was still pretty young when he was with Jodi and he got exposed to a lot of tempting thoughts from her. He'd have been embarrassed to talk like that with anyone else. Obviously, Jodi was his dirty little secret. I defend him as he acted with others and not with Jodi the bad influence in his life. Remember at some point he rejected her and I think given time, he'd have just remembered all the "Jodi times" as a filthy bad dream and turned out to be as nice a guy as any other.
