She was not there? She is not a "witness" at all!!

She was not even a regular part of Trayvon's life who might be some sort of character witness..

"Mr. Martin, why did you first claim that the voice was not that of your son, and later change your testimony?"

"Ms. Fulton/Mr. Martin, why do you claim not to have any audio or video recordings of your son's voice, which the defense subpoenaed?"

I have felt sorry for the father on more than one occasion but I have never felt one iota sympathy for her.

This is my first post here so I hope im doing this right :34 Forgive me if im not LOL Ill figure it out eventually :N9 ..Im trying to reply to Deb's comment about Sabrina not coming to Sanford after hearing about Trayvon's death. As a mother that saddens me :97 IF anything like that ever happened to ANY of my grown children or grand-babies,whether they were right or wrong in that situation, you'd have to literally kill me to stop me from being there! :NN8 For the life of me I just can't get past that she didn't, Trayvon's voice or not. Just my 2cents LOL :51

Wow, how the mighty have fallen.

She won't be allowed to testify to that, none of the families will including Robert Sr. for George. If they try to get it in Nelson will have toi instruct the jury to ignore it.

They will however listen to the tesimony of 3 witnesses who will state that Tracy said it was not Trayvon.

I love those smilies too!

I just don't get that part. She claimed to go to bed in a fit of depression for days. Tracy Martin did all of the hard things associated with his son's death. Right or wrong, he is the one who was at the SPD station trying to find answers. He is the one who arranged the transport and funeral. In his interviews, you could feel his grief and I have never doubted that he loved his son.

Sybrina Fulton...not so much. CTH has made a good case that he wasn't staying with her and I am convinced that she had washed her hands of him after the last suspension. But who could remain that angry with their child that they wouldn't go to him when he died?

They need a smilie for a cold fish. That is how I see her.

I said months ago that the screams will be negated by the FBI report and the three reasons they listed for not being able to make a determination.

I think that she can testify, though. I can't think of a legal reason why she can't. I think that is the only thing she can testify to. It is a matter of determining if the Prosecution wants to go down that road. It is like testimony about character. Do they really want to go down that road? If there is nothing in all of those reports on Martin, they might try to hammer that home. The only thing that is in evidence that we have been able to see is that one field contact with MDPD in Nov of 2011, most likely in connection with the defacing of school property.

If you take away the emotional ties to the yells for help, you have two guys in a fight. A very one sided fight. With Zimmerman sustaining all of the injuries from that altercation and Martin having virtually none that defines assault. If there had not been a shooting, both would have been placed in custody and charges would have been most likely filed against Martin using the same evidence we have now.

The whole "Martin Family" thing is a made up fantasy.. part of the Scheme.

The Scheme to present a false narrative has worked, unfortunately. The Traybots do imagine little Trayvon was part of this "Martin Family"... Mom an Dad and brother Jaharvis. Of course it is a total fiction. But that image is just part of the narrative spun by Julison and Crump et al. False information now IMPRINTED in the minds of gullible, unthinking people who form the Traybot Lynch mob.

I may well have found you an Avatar pic ...you can change it yourself.. or I will if you have something you prefer.

That is a tricky door to open, because if you introduce character, the defense would be able to introduce, TM social media, school records and anything else that they might have found to rebut her testimony, I don't see the prosecution doing that.

There are times I try to think from the other side and say that Trayvon was screaming help because George was holding him and preventing him from escaping. He had his gun in one hand and was holding him in his other. But what I can't get past is why, if that were true, would he allow himself to be bludgeoned like that for over a minute? That's where I draw the line and come back to logic and reality. He wouldn't and no one would.

That would be my presentation to a jury. I would then point out that he held out as long as he could, but fearing for his safety, his life; he shot. Not to kill, but to get him off of him. If his intent was to kill, he would have fired more than one round.

John Mc's post made me think of this.

I agree with this. After the fact, the timing doesn't seem like much, but while he was being beaten each second must have seemed like an hour. In any incident like this, there comes a time where you act because you believe you may not get another chance.

I don't find fault with her not traveling to Sanford because everyone is different in this respect. Since it was being handled, there really wasn't a reason to go down there at that time.

But I do find that her behavior, along with Tracy Martin's, does give a good insight into how they viewed their son. The first thing Mr. Martin thought was that his son had been arrested. I can't think of any parent where that would be the first thought. In my circle, the first thing would be that they had been involved in an accident.

I think the mother's behavior runs along the same thoughts as the father. Their son had been on a downward spiral and I believe she assumed his death was the result of his own behavior. And in a way it was - just not the way they assumed.

Okay. This is something that I have been researching on google in regards to the phone that went into evidence. If I am wrong, I am sure no one will have any qualms about telling me. 8-)

From what I understand, when a phone is running out of juice it goes into a "soft shutdown." It saves all of the information that would normally be saved when the system does its own backup at midnight. It is presumed that the phone in question ran out of battery time.

Why do we presume that?

In a "hard shutdown" nothing is saved. If the battery is removed, it is dropped, got wet, or any other number of reasons for it to immediately lose power. The "heart" phone was exposed to the elements. It was found some 10 ft away from Martin's body so there is the possibility that it was either dropped or thrown.

There is no mention of any purchase of a recharger or that anyone used one of theirs to get that phone back to operational. The only piece of equipment that was used on it was the Celebrite according to evidence released in Doc Dumps one and two.

I suggest that the phone may have gotten wet and had a chance to dry before they turned it on back in March. That is a possibility for why the records don't match what was submitted and why some of the information is missing.

Theory only and not set in stone. Appreciate some input since the cell that I have is very basic and not nearly as intricate as the smart phone used by Martin.

I know NOTHING about cell phone stuff. I don't even own one.

I can't help, Deb... or even get away with making something up....But... I don't want you to think your post is ignored and unloved. I think you raise some interesting questions.

I am maintaining a "Watching Brief" on all the phone stuff.

I am VERY frustrated that we do not even yet know definitively what which phones were involved, complete billing records, complete memory data and PING LOGS for all the phones that MIGHT be involved.

In the Casey Anthony case... even though then also, I knew nothing about phones... I could read MONTHS worth of call details.. times and text messages. I still have a HUGE pdf spreadsheet of ping logs.. and can follow her every move second by second over months. WHY have we not got that info here?

If the phone got wet, which was very possible based on where it was found and the conditions at the time, yes that might explain some loss of information, Smartphones are mini computers, the same thing would happen if you suddenly lose power to your PC. Anything you we working on would probably be lost, without some retrieval software to get it back.
Deb there is another issue with the phones, the calls as listed by the only evidence we seen are listed as T-Mobile to T-Mobile, yet DD had a Simple Mobile phone. Originally as Simple Mobile leases the use of the T-Mobile network, it was assumed that was the reason. But, calls to T-Mobile have verified that Simple Mobile calls would be listed as In-Network calls. Simple Mobile leases the use of the Network but their billing is separate, as such calls from Simple Mobile would not show as In-Network calls. This is a big discrepancy, without an answer.

Things have slowed to a crawl at JQ. Nothing worth quoting really.

But I will quote a couple of things that speak to the character the people posting and why the place is as it is.

I'll add a little inside info from my 4 years there to provide context.

Bossman, here's what it's all about:

See, they're not a real "family" Family. They just play one on TV.
It's a Reality TV Show. Think "The Kardashians" without anyone good-lookin' or sexy or bright.

Yes... in terms of modern "Reality" type show....

A baby Daddy and 5 kids and 5 different Baby Mammas would work......

But in my day ... even a fictional TV Mom and Pop got MARRIED just once, stayed married (or at the very least, after the tragic death of one parent, one struggling parent carried on ALONE raising the kids) :24

Think.... Andy Griffith show
My Three Sons

Maybe this is another dent in the armor of Crump. We know he was fed information from the SPD and he got information from Tracy Martin during his talks with Serino. Perhaps he made the same mistake that I did. That Simple Mobile was connected to T Mobile in the fact that they use the same network. I actually googled to see if T Mobile TO GO, which used to be their prepaid years ago, had sold its rights off.

So if the call actually happened, who was on the other end of the TMO->TMO? And can we assume that the North Dade number might by W8?

This is part of the work done by MJW. I need to get him to rework that!!!! LOL. I am sure he will be amused by my demand.

And on another note, I am CCPing myself from TL because I am too darned lazy to retype this...

Why is everyone ignoring this witness? She clearly describes to different individuals before and after the gunshot. She has Martin in white and Zimmerman in red. IIRC, she was troubled that she thought Martin was wearing white.

Her diagram has them closer north before reaching John's area of the dog run if you combine it with W6 it shows the movement to the south.

Page 31 is her interview with O'Steen...

Do those calls that assume "DeDee" indicate T-Mobile, or Simple Mobile/non-T-Mobile?

The phone purported to belong to Witness 8, and purported to be in Witness 8's possession on the night in question, is an anonymous, pre-paid, Simple Mobile phone, not a T-Mobile phone.
