I wonder too if Jodi wasn't getting desperate? How old was she when she killed Travis? Getting near 30? An old maid - giving her ALL to so many - but no real takers... at least NOT the one's she wanted! Things worked against Travis. You can't always say what you think to insane people... he did. BUT - he must have been furious with her.

He couldn't get anything going with anyone new - thanks to her. He was really helpless and trapped! THEN there she was, THROWING HERSELF at him ... depriving him from finding a good wife and being happy and content. Torturing him at every turn. Making herself and homely body, available to him at all times. He must have felt so helpless.
No wonder he told some friends "If I get killed, it was Jodi!"
I've been waiting for a link for confirmation, but I'll post that I read that one of Travis' friends, after reading what he wrote to her a week before the murder (the texts I posted yesterday), asked if Travis wasn't afraid she would kill him.
To think that they met in September 2006, he baptized her in November 2006, they met halfway in driving distance at his friend's house in December 2006 and then became "official" BF/GF in February 2007 and broke up June 2007.
These days, seems young people just cannot allow relationships to END. It keeps going on and on and on, which is so unhealthy. I suppose all the available social media and the ability to "monitor" others in various ways helps keep up the continuity.
