Arias also said she almost lost her life that day, because barely escaped the intruders in Alexander's home. They allegedly threatened her and told her that she could not tell anyone about what happened when Alexander died.

This morning has been WILD! I agree with you saying she is different today. She's dropped the bit of arrogance (although she was still parsing in the beginning). I think the one who is most different is the prosecutor. He has thankfully dropped the back-and-forth bickering, aggressiveness and anger down a notch (probably on the good advice of the many attys I've heard who disagree with his "getting in the weeds with her").

You're right, most are closed mouthed - and far away and difficult to see. But this one is more of an up close picture and her teeth do look a lot whiter than they are now....but then again, she's pale from being in jail now as opposed to being tanned and maybe that makes the teeth appear to be whiter?

What I found different about her when they play that 48 Hours Interview is her chin, small and pointed....is it because she is a little heavier or thinner in that interview than now? Her face looks completely different. Weird.

Agree about the Bugs Bunny teeth - maybe when whiter, the coloring helps hide the protruding front teeth better or depending on the angle?

The male and female ninja story of the assault she told on 48 Hours is just absurd! Jody said on the stand, "I can't keep my lies straight." I think there is a LOT of truth in that ninja story (with the exception of the ninja's, of course). Someone made an excellent observation to notice that it is the FEMALE ninja that is calling the shots. Jodi's penchant to add detail (like the ninja telling her to "go sit by the armoire") is so over-the-top!

1:46 p.m. ET: Martinez is hinting that Arias rented the car in Redding, California instead of in her hometown of Yreka, because someone might recognize her there.

1:44 p.m. ET: Martinez is asking Arias about the rental reservations she made for a road trip to go visit Alexander in June 2008.

1:38 p.m. ET: Arias said that during her "48 Hours" interview she could not keep her lies straight.

- She secretly drove over a 1,000 miles to Travis's house
- Brought along a gun, and maybe a knife
- Rented a non-descript car (said to agent she didn't want one that stood out and todays testifies that red cars get more tickets)
- Turned the license plate upside-down.
- Filled car with gas cans and water.
- Told lies about being lost.
- Admits she killed Travis.
- Stabbed him 29 times, slit his throat and according to ME, the shot came last
- Left to meet up with another man (slept on top of him)

1:54 p.m. ET: Martinez is asking Arias about how she turned down a red rental car. The rental car agent testified she didn't want a car that stood out. Arias just replied to Martinez and said she didn't want a red car, because they get more tickets.

1:47 p.m. ET: Martinez reminded Arias that she testified earlier in the trial that Yreka is a small town and everyone knows each others business.

I was looking at that last photo of Travis, staring front on at us. Scary. Poor guy looked totally stressed looks frightened!!
*** Does his body look as IF he is SITTING - leaning back against the wall of the shower?*** Doesn't look as if standing? IF he is sitting, and that "LOOK" on his face ... he might have been obeying orders TO SIT ... with a knife pointed at him, or a gun? So she wanted to capture his fear, his last living moments ... before the start of her slashing. SHE WANTED it close and personal and painful, the KNIFE! She could have shot him a couple times and killed him. NO - SHE WANTED HIM TO SUFFER AND BLEED OUT FROM MANY PLACES... HEART, THROAT, AND THE MANY STAB WOUNDS --- WHICH HE DID. I think the M.E. said he was dead when she shot him. No bleeding inside his face I think ...because heart not beating... OMG.

He has defensive wounds, horrible deep gashes on his hands. I think cuts to his legs too... all over. I saw stab wounds to the back of his head too. I think she wanted to torment his mind too, letting him know he was going to HAVE A HORRIBLE DEATH - RIGHT THEN AND THERE!!!

My feeling has always been FIRST the knife to the chest to disable him - making him weak and "hers". then the back stabs while he was trying to get away and stopped at the sink to "spit blood"? Then to the hall as he continued to try to get away. All that blood there then was the slashing of his throat? I was thinking about that. In order to slice all the way back to his spine, she had to have some kind of leverage/position going on? Pulling his head back by his hair? Then because she thought he just wouldn't DIE - or fast enough for the queen, the gun shot to the head?

God ONLY KNOWS what tormenting horrible things she was saying to him, and the insane devil look she had to have on her face during that rageful frenzy. Poor man, helpless, wet, naked ... while she was HEAVILY ARMED! AND can you imagine, taking pictures of all of that in front of him with HIS camera!!

Maybe she changed her mind about the photos and was afraid she might get caught with it and the murder photos on her - so decided to "try" to dispose of it all. Wasn't worth having them. We know they love to relive their dirty work.

It is horribly gruesome, Joni, and I can agree with your entire scenario of what went down. Can you just imagine what she was screaming at him?? That dark, cold look of her ugly eyes. Her having the wherewithall to actually slit his throat in such a violent manner and all the rest of this psychotic story makes me SHUDDER!

Then she has the utter sickness to photograph him in the shower (I'm sure she was holding the gun on him, forcing him to pose). He looked absolutely lost and hopeless. Remember how she recounted in the 48 Hour interview how the ninja holding the gun on her forced her to.....etc. She is some kind of other-wordly evil. I think the insanity defense might have worked better.

For first time, judge admonishes Arias to allow Martinez to finish asking question before answering.

Going round and round over gas cans, conversation about the gas cans with her friend Ryan she borrowed them from, etc.
