That is the best "how to wash a cat" video I've ever seen. Freaking hilarious (and accurate in my experience). See how high that cat jumped? Mine did too and right over the glass shower door! :84

I guess this wouldn't work on a cat? Image :39

MM I remember that - RIGHT OVER THE DOOR! OMG. Poor scared baby! BOTH of you!

I just can't bring myself to do it ... yet. Maybe during the warmer weather ...
maybe if things settle down here.

Lilly could be one of those cats that actually like water and baths! :8

The cat who was in the sink, playing with the faucet handles seemed to get quite a shock! :84

I have two cats who are absolutely fascinated with water, both grays.
I always thought it was because of the way i hand raised them.
They gotta be in everything that is water, and i do mean everything.

Mine sometimes puts his paw in his water bowl, but that's the only water he will get near. Sometimes I find him in the (dry) bathtub...not sure why or what he does in it! :84 He does get a funny look on his face when I catch him in there. :6 :84

For my team, dry bath tubs are cool, like in temperature.

That makes sense. (I still think he's up to something, though.)

Oh, I'm sure he is up to something. No doubt about that, but he's being "cool" about it!

Ha Ha. Lilly wants to go into the tub, but I stop her. It has high sides. Afraid maybe she can't get out? I have a little step stool to get in. Maybe I should let her experiment...

Always SOOOOO curious eh?

Yes! You should let her. If a cat can jump over a shower door or a fence, it can jump out of the tub, as long as she has traction. She isn't slipping and sliding in the tub, is she? I wouldn't let her then.

Do it, Just lift her in and watch her reaction.
My cats play in the tub all the time, that was my babysitter when they were tiny.

Oh! Poor kitty. :8

(But you'll probably be a happier cat in the long run.)

Thanks!
Hopsing is an awesome guy, and although neutering is the only way to go
with a male cat, I am still saddened and ashamed that I had to have it done. :97

He looks at me now with contempt. :18

This is the kitty I got when he was only a few days old, and I honestly thought he
was dead when the guy handed him to me. I just added warm blankie, bottle of milk, love,
and he sprang back to life. :95

Now 6 months later, he is a a giant doof, lighter on one end!! :86

I felt sad too, but I believe that it's the right thing to do. Otherwise, they'd be prowling around and making more kittens than even Rumpole could give a home to!
