Conservative blogger, media personality and LBC host Iain Dale told Good Morning Britain that he has officially deplatformed UKIP and its leader, Gerard Batten MEP.

Discussing the prospects for Nigel Farage’s Brexit Party, he said that Farage will have to “eliminate UKIP” and trotted out the usual line that UKIP has become “equivalent” to the BNP and an “Islamophobic” Party.

Batten is no longer welcome on Dale’s show because UKIP, he said, is “beyond the pale”, he told the show.

Although he is best known as a political blogger and commentator, Dale stood in the 2005 General Election for the Conservatives in North Norfolk. However, he was soundly beaten by the Liberal Democrat incumbent, Norman Lamb.

I have been listening to LBC from time to time... and the presenters are morons (mostly). In fact Iain Dale is one of the better ones... so imagine how bad the rest are!!
Dale is one of these dumb gay people who support Islam (and Sharia law)... despite the disadvanges of being Gay in an Islamic society... being thrown to your death off a tall building if you are gay. (ref ISIS or latest laws in Brunei)
LBC hosts are biased as hell and ignorant... doing a great disservice to their audience by feeding them fake news and feeble analysis. Even so... to actually deny a platform to a legitimate Political Party should be illegal?

But the headline might well allude to a thought I had when Farage first started dissing UKIP as embracing Tommy Robinson and "Far right thugs"... islamophobes etc. While the media are going along with it to destroy UKIP at the moment... they will likely turn on Farage himself since he was the original founder of UKIP.. who brought these "thugs" into mainstream UK politics. It's not hard to find Farage past comments opposed to Islam etc... and so he will likely suffer the same fake news attack as he is calling down on UKIP now.

They are BORING and pointless... and WAAAAAAY TOO LONG!!

Brexit chaos, I’m starting to think, is the best thing to happen to British politics in our lifetimes.

As Exhibit A, I present this delicious video courtesy of Carl Benjamin, aka YouTube vlogger and cultural commentator Sargon of Akkad.

Benjamin is standing as a UKIP candidate in the forthcoming European elections. He is exactly the kind of person we need in politics: intelligent, thoughtful, committed, brave, authentic – and most definitely not career safe.You get a flavour of this, I think, in this filmed discussion he had with an angry feminist while out on the campaign trail.

Calmly, rationally, articulately Benjamin defends a tweet he once sent to the posturing, monstrously overrated Labour MP Jess Phillips in which he said: “I wouldn’t rape you.”

The feminist’s almost incoherent rage is a joy to behold. Repeatedly she insists that “offence is a form of oppression”. And she’s clearly so used to living in a culture where this kind of Cultural Marxist drivel is accepted as a winning argument that when Benjamin contradicts her she simply doesn’t know where to go next.

I think I have often made it clear that I have no time for LGBTQ.... "rights" and all that horsehit, but also that I don't have a problem with Gay/lesbian people, any sort of (not harmful) adult interaction. I accept that (a few) people may identify with "the other gender" role and because of that they may well face problems in the wider (straight) society, but having said that, I think such cases are rare. The current explosion in numbers of "Trans" people indicates to me that something is going WRONG in the way these individuals are brought up... and that to some extent it is a "Cult" thing... a lifestyle CHOICE... a bandwagon thing to claim membership of the "Trans" (oppressed minority). Intersectional progressive nonsense.
Having said all that... I liked "livid In Lunacy"... a thoughtful articulate guy (briefly girl) obviously
He seems happy enough now... I hope he is, and continues to be "settled" in his lifestyle choices.


BTW......
The "Guy" who was egging Sargon on to "Just hit me"... was a GIRL!! Who knew?
